Everything went great. Bob worked with me on planning the best place for the system. He got me scheduled right away. They were done in about 3 hours. Over a 90% reduction in our radon numbers right away. The system looks great, very professional.

Bob did my original install a few years ago and did a phenomenal job. Very clean and even did a paint match on the exhaust pipe to the trim of the house. I was very pleased. I was even more pleased when we ran into an issue with the motor on the unit. Bob was quick to respond and changed everything out within days of the request. I would highly recommend Bob to anyone in the market for a Radon mitigation system. Excellent experience on the install and outstanding customer service.

Bob was punctual, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about radon, radon mitigation systems, etc. Multiple options were reviewed with the pros and cons of each option discussed. I am very happy with the final installation and the system delivers on what it promised it would do (radon levels now below 1 pCi/L).

When selling our house, a radon test identified radon in our home. The company provided an estimate within a couple days of calling. This company is very busy, we did agree to delay installation to allow other homes to be completed before ours due to closing dates which were sooner than ours. 

The contractor promptly arrived at our house on the agreed date of installation.  They drilled a hole in our cement basement floor and installed a PVC pipe from floor, going out the side of house above the foundation and up above the roof. There was obviously some noise with the drilling, but it was not disruptive. They cleaned up very well after the drilling.  Installation took about 2 hours. 

A temporary electric line was installed  to the pump.  A licensed electrician, hired by Radon Specialties returned the next day to install the permanent electric line.  They conducted a test for two days after installation to test the system.  If you will not be home, the tester can be left on porch for them to pick up.  The system reduced the radon level from 4.8 to 1.3.  Detailed results of the test are provided.

They were efficient and professional.  They include an one year transferable warranty on parts and labor.

We had to have a new sump pump installed and the broke the seal of the Mitigation system to install it. I called and asked Bob to come out and re-seal it. He tried to walk us through how to seal it on our own but my husband indicated he did not have the tools necessary to be able to do it himself and would prefer for them to go out and complete the task. Bob indicated he was going to be off on Friday the 13th but could come out first thing in the morning. I stayed home from work as the appointment was at 8:30am. 8:30 came and went. I called at 8:45am but no one answered. I left a voicemail that I would be leaving at 9:00am to go to work and asked that someone call me back. At 9:00am, I called again and left another voicemail that the appointment would need to be rescheduled. Later that evening, I received a phone call back apologizing that my appointment was not written on the schedule and that was not typical. They asked if it would be ok for them to come out on Saturday at 9am. Bob showed up right on time and completed the seal within 20 minutes.

Bob and partner installed a radon mitigation system at our home. I'm very happy with the service. Bob installed the system in a location that is well concealed on the exterior of the house, despite the fact that it wasn't the easiest place to install the system.

Bob and his crew did an amazing job. They were the first to respond to our quote requests, and extremely quick to return our calls. Bob as well referred us to a great contractor who handled the encapsulation of our two crawlspaces prior to him installing the radon mitigation systems. The work was completed very quickly and with the highest professionalism. I would rec Bob and his company for any and all radon issues!

The entire installation was completed in about 3 hours, even with a modification of the system. I was pleased that the installers took the time to verify the system was operating properly and made immediate corrections so that it would actually work in a manner that would remove radon gas from underneath the house. The post-remediation system installation radon measurement identified a substantial radon reduction - well below 4 pci/L. Bob also worked with me to schedule a time to do the work that also fit into my schedule. They  cleaned up the work area so that I did not need to do any additional cleaning. I am pleased with the quality, conscientiousness, and knowledge Radon Specialities Co. LLC demonstrated with the installation of my radon remediation system. The final price was reasonable and in-line with the original estimate.

I got several estimates, and they weren't the highest or the lowest, but I hired this company because Bob gave me the most infomation. It took awhile for the system to be installed because there was no one living in the house at the time, so it was a matter of coordinating times. They installed the system which took the radon levels from 9.5 to .6. They did a good job and were easy to work with.

I was selling a house and the inspection revealed a 4.6 radon level which required mitigation. I contacted two companies for quotes. Bob Smith went the same day for a site survey. He was able to use the lockbox to enter the house. He provided a written quote via e-mail the same day. When I gave the go-ahead, he had a cancellation and was able to perform the work the next day. I had work complete, a post test done all within five days of the initial contact. Bob's price was lowest and I am very happy with the professional look of the work completed.

Provided a very reasonable quote in quick fashion. Once I selected the company to perform the installation, they called and scheduled the install to meet my timings. Two people showed up, including the owner. They completed the install in about 2.5 hours. They did a good job of cleaning up afterwords and even laid down drop cloths on the steps the basement. During the install, Bob Smith (the owner) didn't have to install a new sump pump cover so he just reduced the total amount by $25. He also left a detector to ensure that the radon levels did indeed go down below the initial levels. He didn't request payment until after the test results came back with the correct level. They picked up the radon detector on a Saturday morning and didn't require me to be home. Very friendly and made a potential hairy situation (trying to complete home inspection items before the closing) much easier than I would have imagined.

Bob was flexible in scheduling the work. He was receptive to our request in the placement of the system. He was punctual and professional. He recommended an electrician who came out and added a circuit to our electrical box. The electrician was very competent and helped with other concerns in the house. Bob left a radon detection box in our basement for a couple of days after performing the work. He explained how we could check the levels ourselves and he called to make sure everything was working. I would recommend Bob if you have to have a radon system put in!

PRICE IS VERY REASONABLE. NEAT AND COURTEOUS. CAME BACK TO DO FOLLOW-UP TEST.
