Very well. I had to extend his stay when I got home and found a puddle on the floor. I called a plumber and it took several days for the problem to be resolved. Meanwhile, Pet Suites was very accommodating in extending his stay. When I did pick him up, a very nice young woman helped me get hi settled in the car for the trip home.

They take really good care of our dogs. If we are out of town, they call us if something is wrong.

We researched several doggie-day care centers and chose Pet Suites for several reasons the hours of operation are convenient, the facility is clean and  the price is fair.  The staff has a great way with the dogs.  They are always looking out for the dogs? happiness and safety. We use them regularly and feel comfortable leaving our dog in their care.

First let me say that we purchased the extra health insurance for our dog.  It stated that it covered vet bills during the dogs visit, and for two weeks after the visit.  Our dog got sick during his stay, and they didn't say anything during his stay or when I picked him up--no vet visits during his stay.  My dog was sick, lethargic, wouldn't eat, etc. after I took him home.  After two visits to my vet, it was determined that he had kennel cough that was acquired at the kennel obviously.  Pet suites said they will not pay for my vet visits, because in the fine print it says kennel cough is not covered under the health insurance.  Their insurance is worthless. My vet bills are $150.  They also said I didn't bring enough dog food, and they were out by mid-week.  I measured the exact amount that he was to eat before I left, so obviously they fed him too much.  My dog was current in all his vaccines. I also paid for an extra playtime for him everyday which I doubt was given due to the fact that he was sick and lethargic.  They have refunded me $100 which doesn't cover my vet  bills or lack of playtime, lack of honesty, etc.
Response from Pet Suites Pet Resort & Spa
"Thank you for your feedback [Removed Member name]. We apologize that your dog fell ill after his stay. As referenced, you did purchase our Health Policy during Hershey's stay at a total cost of $8/per stay. We actually indicate in all capital letters near where you initialed to elect the policy that any illness for which your pet may have been vaccinated will not be covered. Additionally, there is a separate area in the contract that discusses the fact that no amount of sanitation, cleaning or personalized attention can prevent a pet from contracting canine cough. It is always a possibility when your pet is in a social environment that he or she may contract a cold, whether that social environment is the dog park, a PetSmart retail establishment, or a daycare/boarding facility. Like children in a daycare, pups cannot communicate that they feel they might be coming down with something; additionally, they are really bad at covering their mouths during a sneeze or washing their "hands." We do maintain the highest standards with regards to cleanliness and cross contamination - disinfecting each room daily, washing playtime toys between pets, and even disinfecting our outdoor yards to name only a few of our processes. We advertise the ability to "tour anytime" as we are confident prospective clients will readily see our attention to cleanliness and care. Regardless, we do understand that it is inconvenient and expensive to return home from a vacation and have an ill pet. We apologize for this inconvenience and expense. Since we recognize that no client wants to face this type of issue upon their return home, we offer our clients up to $100 towards vet bills for canine cough. We believe this is a very client friendly approach considering that we advise that we will not cover these issues at all. As I'm sure your vet advised, there is no surefire way to prevent canine cough; in fact, even the vaccine is only about 80% effective and does not protect against all strains. Since the illness has a 5-7 day incubation and your pet was diagnosed several days after your checkout, my guess would be he was asymptomatic in our care. Had we noticed any issues with your pet we obviously would have mentioned these, we pride ourselves on being extremely transparent and communicate any unusual behaviors observed during each pet's stay at check out. You mention that Hershey was lethargic following his visit, but this is pretty typical behavior. There is obviously a level of activity at a pet resort that does not exist in a home environment; we like to say that a visit to PetSuites is like Spring Break in Panama Beach, fun - but not very relaxing. Regarding the feeding, we apologize for this issue. It is possible that we incorrectly measured the food during feeding. One common issue that does arise from time to time is that we use standard, 8oz measuring cups, and sometimes a client's "one cup," does not translate well to our 8 oz. standard. I know I personally use a logo cup that is probably 12 oz for my pup, and he is fed "one cup" a day. If I were to tell our team to feed my dog "one cup," they would be feeding him 4 oz. less than I actually feed him. Please feel free to bring your measuring cup from home in the future and that will allow us better accuracy. I hope this has helped to clarify some of your concerns. I know your husband also spoke to our Regional Manager last week in regards to these issues. It is our goal to exceed our clients, both two and four legged, expectations with each and every experience. We apologize that we fell short in this instance. We greatly appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve our clients' experience moving forward. We hope that you will give us another chance to show you what makes PetSuites the leader of the pack."

They have a very clean facility.  They are very professional.  They treat your pet like it’s their pet.  They are “pet people” who work there and not just work nine hours.  When our dog had an issue, they called us immediately if they can take our dog to our vet.  Then they called if they want us to give the medication and them they made sure that when we got our dog back he was in a better kennel so that he was more comfortable.  They were amazing.  The service was great.

They have always been really good. Our dogs go nuts when they go here. While we were out of town, they sent us pictures of the dogs. We have always had good service. Once, one of my dogs had a sore after play and the staff noticed it. They were really nice about it and offered to take him to the vet but we think it was something unrelated to Pet Suites. We've been going here for about a year and a half. They are always very accommodating and they are very responsive. I really appreciate that they take the time to work with the dogs.

It is a convenient location. I like the facility. The cats have a condo to run around in. They also take the cats out a couple times a day to play.

Pet Suites is wonderful. Our dog loves going there which makes it easier to leave him when we vacation. The staff is always friendly and courteous. They are punctual and always know what is going on with your pet. We use them a lot when we take short weekend trips.

I would highly recommend them to anyone who cares about their pets.

I want to recommend Pet Suites to people who adore their dogs. The people who work here do love the animals and it shows! I have two seniors that used to stay here regularly. One day I was at the dog park and I heard a young woman I didn't know yell out their names. They ran over, thrilled to see her - and I learned she knew them from Pet Suites. We now use a house sitter for our two seniors (very elderly) but recently needed to leave town unexpectedly for a night and needed someone to care for our one year old pup that we had just adopted two week's prior. We hated to leave him after just having 'rescued' him but they welcomed his crate in his kennel and went out of their way to make him welcome. He was safe and sound upon our return ... and it won't surprise me to learn he's made friends there.

I took my dog to Pet Suites because the person who normally grooms him was not going to be available for quite some time. They did a great job and are very professional. The staff is friendly. They seem to have a great facility for boarding dogs as well.

3 day care. Two dogs. Grooming. Extra play time. Our dogs have never been boarded before (always had in home care), but being very new to the area, we decided to try boarding for our weekend trip. I was expecting them to be a bit traumatized by the stay. When I picked them up, they were very happy and seemed well adjusted to the facility. I would recommend them for boarding pets.

They seemed to do fine. We were on vacation, and we called a few times to see how the dog was doing. They provided a lot of details, and when I picked up our dog, he was fine too. Overall, I think they did a good job; I have no complaints.

We have been boarding our two small dogs with Pet Suites in Sharonville several times a year for a couple years. We were taken on a complete tour to view the kennels, exercise runs and the entire facility before our first boarding. The facilities are very clean and they have a variety of kennels from small suites to very large 'penthouse suites'. The small suite is perfect for our 9 lb. and 13 lb. dogs to share. They get to use their own beds, the staff gives them meals and medication on the same schedule used at home. We also provide pee-wee pads and the staff makes sure they have fresh ones in their suite, in addition to taking them out to let them potty and run in a large dog run. They also have a 'cuddle' and play time. We had boarded the dogs at another kennel, but the dogs came home with upset tummies and fleas. We've had absolutely no problems since taking them to Pet Suites. When on vacation, we call everyday to check on them and the staff always goes to the dogs' suite, physically checks on them and reviews their chart; then they get back on the phone with us and tell us what the dogs are doing, if they've been eating all their food and if they have been 'eliminating' normally or not. They always give us full details when we call. They aren't shaking all over when we check them in at Pet Suites like they did at the previous boarding kennel. The dogs are very happy to see us when we pick them up of course, but they look as happy and healthy when we pick them up as they did before they stayed at Pet Suites. So, we know they are treated well and looked after. The staff goes through a thorough check in process and asks questions regarding the dogs' schedule, medications, food, bathroom needs, etc. The check out is also thorough and they tell us everything the dogs did and how it went. I totally trust the staff at Pet Suites to take care of our little babies and would recommend them.

We have used this PetSuites for several years. Our labradoodle loves it there. She really does believe she is going on vacation also. She is always happy to go stay and does not balk at the door. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They really do seem to enjoy the pets. When she comes home, she acts as though she was never gone. This has not been the case in the past with other kennels.

They are so sensitive and aware. They met our needs. They are marvelous. The overall experience was excellent. One of my dogs is very picky. When we are away he gets depressed and won't eat. One of the workers actually sat down in front of his cage, when she saw that he wasn't eating, and went an extra mile to feed him braunsweiger. The price is expensive, but worth it when you consider what they offer. They were punctual, responsive, and professional.
