Ohio Valley Pure Water

Mike was very professional and did a good job. From the time I first contacted him for an estimate to completion of the job, everything was timely and as promised.  He has been very easy to contact both before and after the sale/installation.

Great service.  I called Mike because we ran out of the resin cleaner for the water softener.  He came over right away the next morning and refilled the resin cleaner solution tank and adjusted the flow rate so that we won't use it up so quickly in the future.  Checked the settings on all the equipment while he was here.

Mike is very professional and knowledgeable.  He's very responsive too.  Will definitely continue to use him for our water filteration needs!

I was very unhappy with another company that had installed a drinking water system two short years ago. There had been issues with it, and suddenly a "membrane broke" and the company couldn't really explain how their simple three filter system needed to be replaced after two short years (at a cost of $400!).
Needless to say, I was less than pleased and searched Angie's List for a company that I could trust. I called Mike at Ohio Valley Pure Water on Friday. He came out promptly the very next day and (after checking over our complicated "pond water" system), he gave me some advice and installed a start-of-the art undersink system and we couldn't be happier with Mike and Ohio Valley Pure Water.

The install was easy since Mike had taken the time to not only setup the filter prior to coming, but also to run water through it so I would be able to use it right away. Since he had already done all of the conenctions for the unit itself, he was able to take it out of the box and just connect the hoses from the sink and waterlines. As a bonus, he also noticed that the drain pipe on one of the sinks was not actually connected to the sink.

Mike, the owner, came out and did a great job. He explained how the system works. He informed me of when I should call him for filter changes. Mike took about an hour to install the system. He cleaned up and took all the boxes with him, so the project area looked tidy after he was done.

Ohio Valley Pure Water & Mike performed annual maintenance on our Water Purifier.Very professional, received the day before call & ready to arrive call prior to showing up.Checked the system & changed filters as scheduled.Mike does a great job & we will continue to use Ohio Valley annually.

I made my initial inquiry by email and Mike was responsive and informative.  We finalized arrangements and he was on time and quickly installed the filters.  He explained to me when we would need to replace the filters and the costs involved.  Everything was very above-board, no selling, just informing and giving me options.  He was very patient with my questions and gave me a lot of information.  Everything he said lined up with my own research.  I was really pleased with the price, our water tastes great, and I am very happy to have the chlorine filtered out of all of our water.

Mike was professional and took pride in his work.  He was flexible with his schedule and was able to do an install within days of our first call. He showed up on time and was articulate about what we could expect from his products and what we would need to do to maintain them. He was attentive to details and the whole system looks great.  We are very pleased with the end result and are now enjoying our soft and clean water.

Mike is very professional and did an outstanding job of installing our water softener.  There was a "slight" problem, and he came back immediately  to address it.  He went above and beyond what I've ever seen done before in dealing with other companies.  We most definitely  would recommend Ohio Valley Pure Water.

Mike came to the house and gave us education and a detailed quote based on what WE were looking for versus trying to "sell" us on something we didn't want.  He had us scheduled quickly for install and was on time and very professional the day of the install.  Mike was very nice, clean and organized and did a great job educating us on upkeep of the system and any other maintenance tips for optimal performance of our system.  He even threw in a free water faucet since we were Angie's list members!  He was in and out in an hour and a half and our water is finally the way we wanted it!!!g

The owner, Mike, came out to our home and made a proposal for installation of the water filter, water softener, and a reverse osmosis water filtration system for the kitchen.  We decided to install the whole house water filter and the water softener.  His prices were very reasonable and the equipment he quoted was of high quality.  Mike's quote for the water softener was 1/3 that of the big national name brand water softening company.  The next day I called Mike and asked him to go ahead with the instillation.  He came out himself the next business day and installed the equipment in about 2 hours.  The installation was done neatly and professionally and everything is working great.  We are really enjoying having soft water and the water filter has improved the taste of the tap water.  If you are looking for a water softener, stop reading reviews and just call Mike.  You won't regret it.  I have already recommended OVPW to one of my neighbors.

We had been thinking for quite some time to have such a system installed but delayed to do this as we had been using a Brita water filter pitcher.    What an amazing difference!  The quality of the water is so much better.   Mike is knowledgable, courteous, and professional.  While we have only had our system for two weeks, I would recommend Ohio Pure Valley Water without a doubt.

We first contacted him by phone and asked several questions. He referred us to his website where there are many frequently asked questions and product description and prices. He then came out and gave us a firm price and tested our water. That in itself was worth him coming out. I cannot describe in words what that water looked like. All I can tell you is that we didn't want to be the filter anymore. Mike is very knowledgeable, professional, and completely answered all of our concerns. We scheduled the installation for 3/6/12 between 8:00-8:30 a.m. and he even called to let us know he was on his way. Installation only took about1-1/2 hours and we are so pleased with everything. Today, I can tell you that our water tastes different and better. We are water drinkers so we noticed the change right away. My coffee this morning is less bitter, and I drink high quality coffee. We are looking forward to using less soap, not having dry skin issues due to all the chlorine in the water, and just knowing we are drinking pure, clean, water is such a peace of mind. We would strongly recommend you hiring this company!

Mike was prompt and professional on the initial installation.  Recently I called him with a question and he came over that same day to make adjustments to the system to ensure it was functioning properly.

We had a reverse osmosis water filtration system and a water softener installed into a house that we purchased for my mother to live in.  Mike, the man who installed everything, was there on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable.  He thoroughly answered my questions about how things work and the maintenance involved.  I would definitely recommend Ohio Valley Pure Water Systems, Inc to my friends and family.  Oh, did I mention that the water tastes great?  It definitely does.

He was very professional and called to let me know he may be a little late because of an accident. He was only about 5 minutes late. I will definitely use his company again.

Outstanding performance. Mike found a leak in our refrigerator line and fixed it as part of the overall installation.  We are quite pelease.  He said three hours and that is exactly what it took.  He met and exceeded all our expectations.

Everything went on fine with them.  He was very nice man.  There was a leak, and I had to call him back twice.  He came back and fixed it.  The price was good.

All in all, Mike’s favorite saying seemed to be “Treat others as you would like to be treated,” and we were treated well and are enjoying our water (especially after the electrolysis test that showed us what was in our “old” water – yuck!).

Mike & Ethan did a nice job of replacing our Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration system. They were knowledgeable, professional and got the job done to specification. They had some tips on how to better care for our Water Softener. We signed up for yearly maintenance & filter change with them.

It went very well. No issues. We made the decision to go with this company last year and the annual follow up was executed just as described when we installed last year, which was a good experience as well. As far as price goes, I think everything is high, so the "B" for pricing is more about me than OVPW. I checked pricing carefully last year before choosing this company. This company, based on my experience can be trusted to do what they say, when they say and at the price quoted.
