I was grateful that I brought a friend, my new cabinetry door samples, my existing floor tile and tile backspash in order to select the slabs for my kitchen.  Sharon Baird was very patient and walked the entire granite slap yard several times with us.  She was candid about the drawbacks of certain granite and it's longevity, but stylistically and from a maintenance standpoint.  I wasn't buying for "trendy"...it's going to be around my kitchen for a long time.
There weren't enough slabs available for my measurements in my choice of granite, so she said that they would have new slabs in within 2 weeks and that if there was any variation from the slabs that were present, that she would let me know.  When they came in, they had more of a gray cast than a tan cast, so I went back down and looked and they were fine. 
They installed them exactly to the specifications that I requested.  I did run into a delay...they could put them in the week of Thanksgiving, but since I was going to be out of town anyway, I opted to let other buyers get theirs in time for the holiday and I just waited.  I was very pleased with a perfect installation.

Though Ohio Tile and Marble was suggested to us by our contractor, our attempt to do business with them was very frustrating.  They require an appointment to look at their marble.  Their phone was always busy, and no calls were returned to us after leaving 2 messages.  We finally drove to the showroom to see if someone could help us.  All the reception staff did was take our information and have us choose from general color samples.  We were told they would see what they had in that color family and call us.  Nobody ever called.

We purchased our granite countertops from this company and that will be the last purchase we ever make from them.  The cutting of the countertops was not what we expected.  Also a big heads up that they subcontract out the installation of the countertops.  It's not actually Ohio Tile & Marble that installs them even though you pay Ohio Tile & Marble.  Guess what that means, if you have issues with the installation and go to file a complaint it will not show up on the records because technically Ohio Tile & Marble did not install the countertop!  But then try to complain about the install company and that won't work because technically you did not pay them, you paid Ohio Tile & Marble.  It's almost impossible to lodge a complaint against either and I'm guessing that's the whole point of how this works.  I could not recommend this company to anyone and we will never buy anything from them ever again.

We selected tile from this company for our bathroom remodel. The tile we selected was a porcelain made from Italy. The tile that was delivered to our house was not representaive of what was shown on the floor. The edges at the showroom were darker but not in an un-natural way. Our tile was very dark on the edge and appeared black in some areas. Once installed, it looked as if the tile had mildew on it. The owner and the rep came to look at the tile once installed. The owner did not say two words. The tile rep kept saying they have never had this problem with anyone else. This was insulting because we felt they were saying we were the problem, not the tile. They offered us $200 back on the tile. We ended up taking the money and getting the problem fixed ourselves. This is not a company I would ever do business with. When there is a problem they will not stand behind the product. They were not pleasant to work with during a problem.

PUNCTUAL. WELL MANNERED AND PROFESSIONAL. I DID NOT TAKE HIS ESTIMATE DUE TO HIM NOT HAVING THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS, HE ADMITTED HIMSELF. I WOULD USE HIM FOR FUTURE JOBS, HE WOULD BE THE FIRST PERSON THAT I WOULD CALL.

SHE IS VERY, VERY HELPFUL. HER STORE HAS ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT TILE. I TOOK A SAMPLE OF MY COUNTERTOP IN, AND SHE WAS ABLE TO HELP ME SELECT A TILE TO GO WITH IT. THE TILE LOOKS VERY GOOD.
