I love my 13 year old truck and wanted to keep it for a couple more years, but the exhaust was rusting and had some leaks. I got estimates from about 6 different places to repair - replace my exhaust system. Most shops wanted to replace most of it for between $900. and $2000. The last estimate I got was from Northwest Service Center. They told me between $300.- $400. He ( sorry I don't recall his name now I think the owner?) took me out in the shop under the lift and he explained what work he would do if it was his truck. He proved to me how even though it looked all rusted most of it was still very strong and not in need of total replacement. The bad area was where the two pipes came together went into a resonator then muffler and out the back. They cut out the bad pipes and TIG welded in new custom fabricated pipe and a new resonator, then reconnected to the muffler that he reassured me had plenty of life left. The bottom line here is....They could have made more money, heck the high end of the reasonable estimate was for up to $400. and the final bill was $336.00. When you find a business that is all about doing only what is necessary and charging a fair price to do it you have to spread the word. They have been at that location for a very longtime and now I know why. I am extremely satisfied as you can tell:-)

I recommend them to people and it has gone well. He is honest to the point that if the car is falling apart, he will tell us that it is not worth paying for repairs.

I take all my cars to Northwest Service Center. I've been doing it for the last seven years. Their prices are fair and I get in when I need to. They always get me in when I need to. I was going on vacation and my window stopped working and I was leaving the next day. They got it in and got the motor in the window fixed.

WE TRIED THIS SMALL, INDIVIDUALLY OWNED SERVICE CENTER ON MY DAD'S RECOMMENDATION. I WASN'T THAT IMPRESSED WITH THE PRICE, COMPARED TO WHAT OTHER, BIGGER ESTABLISHMENTS ADVERTISE. EVER SINCE THE WORK WAS DONE, THE BRAKES HAVE SQUEALED A BIT, ON AND OFF. AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS WAS JUST THEM GETTING SEATED TO THE NEW BRAKES, BUT NOW I WONDER IF THERE WAS RESIDUE LEFT THAT IS RUBBING. ALSO, EVEN THOUGH MY DAD HAS HAD WORK DONE THERE FOR YEARS, I DON'T THINK WE GOT ANY SORT OF A PRICE BREAK. THEN, AFTER WE'D HAD THE SERVICE DONE, THE SHOP GAVE DAD A DISCOUNT CARD FOR BRINGING US IN. I'VE WORKED WITH OTHER AUTO SERVICE SHOPS WHO REWARD A RETURN CUSTOMER WITH A COUPON TO USE FOR FUTURE SERVICE. I THINK WE COULD HAVE DONE BETTER--ON PRICE AND QUALITY OF SERVICE.
