Bill and the team were friendly from the start, quick to schedule us in, and provided a safe and reliable loaner while they had our car. We asked them to look over the whole car as we bought it used and had no idea what hidden problems might be lurking. They did a thorough inspection, provided complete results of their research electronically, and also took the time to discuss what service items were and quot;must havesand quot; vs what items we might to decide to love with as-is for now.

The discussion was all Volvo-centric (down to specific quirks of this model year) and they were also able to tell a history of the car and specific parts (e.g., that the transmission was the original). While our family loves Volvos on their own merits, we are tempted to only buy Volvos going forward just so we can continue working with Nordic for every car we own.

Great- The indicator light was cleared and probably due to my not adequately tightening gas cap. Have been a customer of Nordic Motors for years. Their focus is Volvo's. If you own a Volvo I would highly recommend them. Very honest

They are definitely a Volvo specialist, because they have a well-trained Volvo technicians. They are great for a Volvo dealership.

Bill Seiter and Brian at Nordic Motors were absolutely wonderful. Their inspection was the best I have ever had. They were so very thorough. I have had 2 vehicles inspected by them before I purchased them. The inspection was so detailed that I had great negotiating power for the sale price. And, I knew exactly what all of the problems were.
I would highly recommend Nordic Motors for any Volvo repair or inspection. They have taken good care of my 2 Volvo's for over 10 years. A typical Volvo dealer simply would not spend the time to correctly and thoroughly diagnose/repair out-of-warranty Volvos, so I always rely on Nordic Motors. They are the very best.

If you have a Volvo, Bill at Nordic Motors is who you want as a mechanic. When you go there, it is all Volvos. He knows all about them and the lot is full of them. He is very good at being clear about what you really need and what is optional. For example, I had broken rear springs on my station wagon, but he says they don't contribute much to the ride and aren't that important, so there is no urgency in replacing them. On the other hand, he said my car would ride much, much better if I replaced the motor mount-- and he was completely correct! With an older car you need this sort of judgement from someone who really knows that car.
Other good things include the free loaners and the quick service.

The overall experience was pretty good. It is a small company. They actually provide free loaner cars. The place is pretty clean. The service is very good. The managers are very personable, they answer all of your questions, they communicate very well. If there are issues they call you immediately and they give you a really thorough breakdown of the condition of your car. As an example, I thought there were a couple of things that my car needed to have done and they examined and came back and said well, nope, not really, these aren't things you need to worry about. I thought they would be rather expensive. When you mention something like that, in my experience, sometimes repair shops start salivating because if they think you think you need it they'll give it to you whether you need it or not. This was not the case. I got only what I needed and the things that I thought I needed which I thought were going to cost me some money, they told me I didn't need and really didn't need to worry right now.

They always check out everything, and he tells me what really needs to be done. He doesn't seem to push anything on us. The job is done when he says it will be done and offers loaner cars. I've tried other services, but they were more expensive.

I LOVE THIS PLACE AND WILL MISS IT NOW THAT I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW CAR. I'VE HAD JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING DONE TO MY OLD VOLVO, AND THE ADVICE I GET TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION THE FACT ONE SHOULDN'T PUT TOO MUCH INTO AN OLD CAR. SUCH AS, FOR EXAMPLE, A NEW CONDENSER FOR THE AIR CONDITIONING. THE GUY WORKS WITH YOU TO REDUCE COSTS AND HIS VERY HONEST. HIS SENSE OF HUMOR ALONE IS WORTH USING HIM. HE GOT VOLVO FACTORY TRAINING, SO KNOWS VOLVOS AS WELL AS ANYONE.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. BILL IS A REAL PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. I WOULD NOT TAKE A VOLVO ANYWHERE ELSE.

THESE GUYS ARE JUST SUPERB MECHANICS AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. WHETHER BIG JOBS OR SMALL - THEY DO IT ALL WITH APLOMB. IF YOU DRIVE A VOLVO - YOU CANNOT GO WRONG.

I WILL SIMPLY SAY THAT I CHOSE TO BUY AN OUT-OF-WARRANTY USED VOLVO BECAUSE OF THIS SHOP. FANTASTIC SERVICE, FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, WORK IS ALWAYS DONE CORRECTLY, ON TIME, AND AT A REASONABLE PRICE. I HAVE NEVER, IN 5 YEARS, HAD ANYTHING BUT GREAT EXPERIENCES WITH THIS SHOP.
