Neighborhood Lawnmower Repair

They never responded. Maybe they closed their business?

Chris was fantastic! He was prompt, courteous, and did an excellent job getting my lawnmower and snowblower working as they should. I highly recommend this company.

Bought my mower used from a friend and it needed a good going over, as it was 8 years old or so. When I started it Chris said the valves sounded like they were missing a bit and he'd check it out. Did a quick review of what start of season service covered and cost. We then went over the mower, since I wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. He noticed the drive belt was cracked in numerous places and ready to go, it was easy to see what he was talking about and indeed it was worn and cracked, probably original. Checked filters and said they were good for the season. I mentioned last season I had it serviced by one of the vans that show up and wasn't quite satisfied and got him as a referral. My opinion, higher quality, better price, more thorough job than what I got from the drive around van service. He will pick up and return.

Chris was able to get my chainsaw running great while I waited. He also gave me some great advice about the equipment and maintenance as he was working. I found his advice very valuable and weeks later it's still running great. Thanks!

Chris arrived at our house on time and made a quick assessment before taking the mowers and chainsaw back to his shop. He then called us with an estimate before we approved the work. He even told us what the items were worth in working condition so that we could decide if the repairs were worth it. In every case, the items came back to us cleaner (and working) better than when they left. He also took the time to suggest maintenance tips and reviewed starting procedures with us.
I should mention that one of the riding mowers and the chainsaw were inherited and were in HORRIBLE condition. I wanted to throw them out, but saner heads prevailed. I still can?t believe he was able to get them from garbage to good working condition.
Invoicing was done via e-mail which I personally find very helpful, and there was a complete breakdown of the services performed.
As far as I?m concerned, Chris is the only place to go for small engine servicing.
