Chimney Sweeping
The wood stove was really old and obviously not very good; because, I saw the big draft. I questioned the two guys that came from the company weather they could replace that inflation. They said they couldn’t and I could go buy some fire proof insulation at the home goods store, myself. Then, they said that the flue was not working right; and that’s why I was getting, a draft. There was this one guy in general who talked me into purchasing a damper which would have to come along with a regular type fire place. I went ahead and purchased it; and, they took my old wood stove out. They installed a new damper on top of my chimney and then sold me a used fire place plate that goes on the, inside. It was a used, scratched up and the screen on the screen door was, rusty. I was totally unsatisfied; and, I still have a draft coming from that area. I no longer have my wood stove which I really like. I just feel like these guys took my wood stove and turned it into scrap but I don’t know that for sure. I feel they made money, took advantage and robbed me. I do not recommend them at all. I tried to get in touch with the owner of the company. After they left, I found out that they were no longer employees there. The owner of the company would not return my phone calls. I had a bad experience with them.

Cleaned the chimney, was here less than 1/2 hour, I guess the $90 was for the 'free' estimate' from a week prior. Was asked if masonry repair was necessary and they said yes, but would have to do it at another time. We scheduled it, took the day off work, and they never showed up. We called and got an answering machine. We left a message, but haven't heard from them since.
