 + -1 moreI did not call ahead, I simply waited in the shop and they spent approx. 30 min fixing both bikes and then put them back in my van for me. He actually told me that the gear shifter could be repaired by simply putting some solvent in it and placing it upside down. He said if that did not work to come back, but he talked me through what to do at home to avoid a more expensive repair.
Description of Work: I had 2 bikes that needed repair. One had a totally flat tire that would not inflate and the other had an air shaft that was totally bent, so I could not re-inflate the tire. They removed both tires, replaced the one tire and repaired the air shaft on the other.

 + -1 moreFantastic! I brought the bike in and wasn't sure how long it would take them to get it fixed. They were eager to take such a small repair job, and actually had it ready the next morning. I didn't need it back for 3 days, so I was very happy.
Description of Work: I had broken a spoke on my rear wheel on my favorite bike. When the spoke broke, I was riding the bike and was still about 5 miles from home, so the wheel got pretty bent up and warped. They sold me a spoke for about $1 and did the installation and truing of the wheel for about $20, which is a great deal. It would have taken me hours to get it done and I wouldn't be sure it was right (I've tried before).
