They did an excellent job since the house looks really nice and professional lit up now at night! Mark had good ideas on how best to light the house. And Herbert did a great job with the installation. He even had to bore under a sidewalk but did that with no problem given his many years of experience. I liked the service and would use them again if needed.

Contacted Milmark after finding them on Angie's List. Mark, the owner, was quick to get out to my house and provide me a quote. After acceptance, his installer, Herbert, who was incredibly courteous and professional was out within the week and have everything updated to new LED lighting. My house never looked so good at night. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mark Hoffman is great to work with and his follow-up is excellent. His installer, Herbert was a pleasure as well. One of the things Mark did, was to actually put lighting in and provide us with a demo, which we found to be very helpful. I will use Milmark and Mark again.

Mark Hoffman inspected our lights, and told us that they were good quality, and did not need to be replaced. He inspected the connections to see if wire had been cut, and checked the overall installation. He got our lights working again, and offered various light bulb alternatives. We chose to upgrade to LED bulbs which are guaranteed to last for 6 years (dusk to dawn). Also, in one area, Mark noted that the wire had been installed over a sidewalk (in a joint crack), and he suggested that we allow him to reinstall that wire under the sidewalk to avoid a potential future problem. In summary, Mark did a thorough, professional job, and did not try to sell us more than we needed.

Milmark not only provided an excellent plan, price and quality of materials but also performed every step of the project from initial bidding to final completion with responsiveness, professionalism and follow-through. Mark communicated thoroughly throughout the process, met every deadline and came in under budget. He was easy to work with and the quality of the work her performed was superb. Easily one of the best contractors I have ever worked with.

Working with Milmark was amazing! We had another company come out prior to Milmark and what they proposed seemed off to my husband and they didn't return his email asking for references. So I researched on Angie's List and found Milmark Outdoor Lighting and I'm so glad we did. We contacted them late at night and he answered the phone and we scheduled for him to come out and give us a demo. The demo was incredible. We could actually see what he proposed and he explained to us what he did. His pricing is per light so if we wanted to drop a light we could save money. Seeing all the lights on our actual house sealed the deal for us. We absolutely love the finished product and working with Milmark was a great experience. Mark is so friendly and even called the day after installation to make sure we were satisfied with how it turned out. It's so refreshing working with someone who is professional and actually returns calls and emails in a timely matter!

After deciding that we wanted to have additional outdoor lighting for our home we got 3 estimates. All 3 estimates were fairly close but Mark's design was the most flexible and he was the most responsive. He set up a demonstration to show us what our options would look like, kept us informed on scheduling and was available to answer any questions. We're very pleased with the result.

Mark Hoffman responded quickly to our request for a proposal- coming to our home twice to set up demon station. Fixtures used are of good quality disruption to yard & existing landscaping was minimal. His installed went above & beyond to avoid root systems of existing plantings. Both were professional and pleasant to work with at all times & very accommodating with their schedules. I would highly recommend their company. Did not compare.

We recently used Milmark Outdoor Lighting on the front of our house and couldn't be happier! The added light to our house is amazing and is just what we were wanting. The installer did a great job and got the job done quickly. Mark was wonderful with placement and even stopped by in the evening to see how it looked and came the next day to make a small adjustment. The only problem now is... I want to add more around the rest of the house! I will definitely be using their company when I do.

Mark described the work to be done. Showed pictures of previous work. Also saw neighbors houses which had been completed. Work was neatly and quickly done with all exterior wires buried neatly.

Mark is a true professional. From my first phone call to him that was promptly returned within 30-60 minutes to an initial consultation setup for two days later it was a pleasure to work with his company. I had long wanted to execute a landscape lighting project but had previously run into roadblocks from too expensive to poor follow thru to lack of design experience etc. Mark came out as planned (actually called me to tell me he was going to be 5-10 minutes late - can't think of the last time a contractor ever did that) and he listened to what I wanted and then suggested several options to accomplish my goals and objectives. Mark wasn't pushy and in fact talked me out of some deck lighting that I wasn't sure I needed and ended up not doing. I had many questions for Mark after we met and he answered everyone of them in detail in a straightforward manner. Once we agreed on a plan then Mark sent me a detailed proposal within 4 hours. After I accepted we set an install date and Mark called me to make sure the date was still going to work before coming out to do the project. The install was excellent. Meticulous detail on installing 17 fixtures plus a transformer in our yard (we had just updated all of our landscaping) and you couldn't even tell they were there after the job was completed other than we have beautiful lighting throughout our yard now. If you want landscape lighting put in at your house or office and you want it done right the first time with no surprises at a fair price then you would be foolish not to call Mark at Milmark Outdoor Lighting. We always wanted landscape lighting for years, but it took an event at our home - just weeks away, to make it happen! We were up to our knees in DIY home projects at the time, but I started looking around and found Milmark Lighting. Mark Hoffman of Milmark responded in a big way. He was at our home setting up an evening lighting demonstration before we knew it. All I can say is Wow! He took time with us as we tried a variety of lighting techniques to make things just right including highlighting trees/shrubs and architectural features of the home as well as pathway lighting. Fixtures were on order in no time and the install was quick and smooth. It's been maintenance free. We went with LED lighting and never have to worry about changing light bulbs!! The lighting is also on a timer and comes on at dusk and off at dawn. We're very happy with the landscape lighting. It really enhances the exterior of our home along with the added security benefit.
