MID-STATES POOLS SERVICE

I called the company the week before the 4th of July 2018 for a pool cleaning. I talked to a service member to make an appointment for the following Monday (2nd) or Tuesday (3rd). The service member stated it was supposed to rain on that Monday, so they probably could not come out till the Tuesday (3rd). I was fine with that. The 2nd & 3rd came and went and I had not heard from anybody from the company. My pool was still dirty, so like a couple other companies I tried to hire, I figured they were a no call no show. On September 19, 2018 I receive a bill in the mail from Mid-States Pool Services, LLC. I called the company and left them a message, telling them I had no knowledge of the company doing any services to my pool. I received a phone call the next morning September 20, 2018, telling me I owed them for services rendered. They also stated if I did not pay them, I would be sent to collections. When talking with the employee who called me, he told me that this was the second invoice that was sent to me. I tried to explain to him that they very well may have sent me an earlier one, but for whatever reason I did not receive it. So I paid the bill, because I did not want way credit score affected. There was no indication that this company ever came out and did any work. I received no phone call, email nor was receipt telling me that the work had been completed or that someone was on the way or at my home to clean my pool. So either I got charged for a service that was never performed or the work product is deplorable.

Mid-states successfully treated and cleaned the pool. We had a problem though as one day after they came, our pool level dropped a foot. Within the week our pool level dropped to 3 inches from the bottom of the shallow end. Mid-states came back out and located one tear and told us we should be good to go. We refilled the pool and the pool continued to lose water. Mid-states sent us to another company to find the tear. We finally found a 3rd company who came out and found 5 tears in the shallow end. Tears that appeared to be caused by the end of a broom pole or the edge of a broom itself. We called Mid-states as all arrows pointed to their employees as no one swam in our pool or touched our pool other then their technicians. Mid-states credited us for an hour of labor. You be the judge. All of the data pointed to the tears being created by the technicians who cleaned our pool but we couldn't get the company to take ownership and accountability.

They are a jewel to work with and I cannot tell you how helpful they are. They really go above and beyond. The prices are also very reasonable.
