"The actual fee was $320."
"This inspection was done by another engineer, not by Mike Montgomery. Company policy requires the service to be paid for before the client receives the report. A client automatically receives a receipt with the report. A price confirmation is sent with the order confirmation by email."
"None of repairs that we did design for were necessary repairs, but optional items. The repairs suggested were not a mistake to have done, but improvements to the house. All of the costs associated with the suggested repairs were a lot less than the original contractors estimate. We are there to inspect the house only and to determine if the conditions of the house need structural repairs."
"There was no mention in my report that suggested that I should provide any engineering design plans as an additional service. If I would have discussed with her being charged for a design, this would have been mentioned in my report. Everything in my report were suggestions of simple repairs not requiring any engineering design plans or details. Most clients are happy with a report that does not suggest structural repairs."
