Be very careful when using this company. If you fully understand that you can pay more than the 3% commission that they advertise, you might do okay with this company. We loved the "concept"; show our own home and pay a 3% commission. What actually ended up happening is that we paid a 6% commission because the party who purchased our home used a realtor. THAT realtor wanted her commission, so WE had to pay it. This is something Homeowner's Concept does not tell us until up front. If another realtor is involved, you have to pay their commission as well as the 3% to Homeowner's Concept. This practice is somewhat deceptive on their part. As far as service from Homeowner's Concept, they were supposed to notify us when someone wanted to see our home. We had two parties show up completely unannounced because Homeowner's "forgot" to call us. HC has a limited staff, so actually getting a hold of someone was difficult at times. Do your homework before you use this company.
