Mercy Healthplex

Mercy is the hospital corporation. We have been their members since the year 2000 so it has been 15 years with them. They have got everything. You can take diabetic classes. They have got a heart rehab and that is how I first became involved with them. I had a heart attack back in 2000. When I went from cardiac rehab, I just joined their Healthplex and it is just like any other where you get a lot of personal attention. It is like most of your health spas around America. I haven't gone anywhere since I was a kid so you look at it through different eyes. We are happy with it. We continue to stay with them. They have a lot of good techs that work there that work with you for a program. We are happy. What stands out the most is the results and the friendliness of the people that you deal with there. We have made a lot of friends with other members that are pretty much in the same age bracket as us. I think they are fair on the price. My wife and I pay $88 a month, not a piece but together. I think it is probably a very equitable rate that they are asking. I am pleased going there and we have been there for 15 years so they are doing something right. The quality is excellent. I think the communication is good. I don't have a problem with the one that I go to. After so many years, you know most of the people that at least you deal with like the one on the front desk where you get your key for the locker room and things like that. These people are someone you see three times a week and you just become friends with them. It is a good health experience.

They offer a lot of things.

It's a big facility. It's affiliated with the Mercy Hospital. Its a wonderful operation. Somebody in the family is there right now, we use it just about everyday. It's a little pricey compared to some of the average maybe, but if you use it every day, then I feel it's worth it. For a family of four it's about a hundred dollars a month. I think it is a very nice place. I rate them an 'A'. They offer a lot. I will continue using them. They even have additional things that you can use if you pay for it. They are very large. My husband calls it the country club of exercise facilities.

The doctors were good. My experience was good. I don't have any bad things to say so far. They were professional.

They have several branches. I go to them because they offer good variety of fitness classes and it is very clean. If you have a personal trainer they show you how to use the equipment and what is the best way to get the best workout for you. It is not open 24/7. They open at 5:30 in the morning, I am not sure when they close but they have good hours.

I have been a member over 10 years. They have nice pools, tennis, saunas, whirlpools, full basketball court, lots of exercise/spinning classes and the usual nautilus/exercise equipment. It costs over $125 per family per month so is on the higher end. They also have plenty of trainers which I have used. You can even get a massage there.

They are very personalized. They are very professional, and very responsive. It is a clean facility. They have a lot of options for people from massage to personal trainers to physical therapy. They also have good equipment. I will continue to this facility in the future.

Good classes for arthritis pain relief and movement of joints. Excellent instructor. Extremely compatible class participants.

They recently revised their rates and have become more reasonable. The facility is beautiful. It is very easy to use the machines. I would rate them high overall.

They gave great facilities and great programs for kids. They have plenty of programs for kids and they are fantastic. They have aerobics and weightlifting and they also have personal trainer.

We have a family membership and they charge us $100.00 a month. We use them partly because of the location. It is an up to date facility with lots of different equipment options and exercise bikes and stairmasters. It's a really nice environment. They have a lot of classes, but we have never partaken of any of them. They have trainers that we can use, but we haven't done that either. We just go over and use it when we can. We will continue to use them when it suits us.

The facility offers many classes and many venues for all ages. The facility has a therapy pool and a lap pool among other treatment options. The facility is very clean and efficiently run. They have an adequate number of therapists and they always make you feel comfortable with their instructions. Any time instruction is needed to operate the machines, there is someone there to assist. I think the membership dues are quite reasonable considering the offerings they have. This is also attached to Mercy Fairfield hospital. This puts anyone using this facility at ease since the best of care is available while using the facility. I am extremely satisfied with this gym and will continue to use it as long as I am within the area. If I should have to find another facility in another area, I only hope I can find a gym as pleasant as this if I should have to change.

THE FACILITY IS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING. ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THERE IS SUCH A WIDE VARIETY OF CLASSES THAT WE ARE ABLE TO FIND JUST WHAT WE WISHED FOR. THE CLASS INSTRUCTORS ARE FABULOUS!

I WOULD RECOMMEND RONNY'S PROGRAM TO ANYONE. HE IS VERY KIND AND MAKES IT A POINT TO REMEMBER EVERYONE'S NAME. HE KNOWS HOW TO SPEAK ON A CHILDS LEVEL AND GIVES CLEAVER NAMES TO DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE GAME SO THE CHILD CAN REMEMBER HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY. YOU CAN TELL HE REALLY ENJOYS TEACHING CHILDERN.
