MATT VAN SKAIK CUSTOM CARPENTRY

No issues.  All work performed as asked.

He is a really busy guy. We need more of him. A guy who is as good as he is winds up commanding an awful lot of attention after a while with word of mouth and everything. He is not a well-kept secret anymore; that's the only thing that I have to complain about him. We are always A-level satisfied with Matt. If he were available, he would be our first choice to do any number of different things around here.

I thought the price was reasonable.  He is very skilled; he is good at what he does.  He made everything look really wonderful.  I would recommend him to others.  I would be using him again in the future if I needed to.

They were great and arrived when they said they would. They were very clean. The work was excellent. Two men came and were here for 2 1/2-3 days. The work turned out beautiful. I didn't feel that he took adequate time to answer my questions on a couple of occasions.

They had given us great estimates. They have done a good job so far, and we still have some pending work. They do excellent work and show up on time. If the carpenter is really busy he?d tell us that he doesn't have time.

All projects have gone extremely well, such that we don't think of anyone else when our home needs work. On the most recent work, relating to decking and our screen porch door, Matt personally inspected the purported work area, gave us a detailed estimate, came at the appointed time, and completed the work exactly as he had projected.

Matt performed all work himself and did an absolutely impeccable job. His attention to detail is 2nd to none and also how many fantastic suggestions on the new bathroom. We would most certainly would use him again (in fact he is coming back to replace our foyer floor). He is extremely dependable. Matt came everyday for 2 weeks until finished. Half of our cost was the materials we picked out. His price is very fair as we received 3 estimates and Matt was right in the ballpark with all of them.

Matt is an excellent carpenter and did a great job. The trim was finished grade cherry, and didn't leave much room for error. He made the work look easy, and the result is beautiful. I'm really pleased with how the kitchen trim looks.
