I entered the store to receive an estimate on how much they were willing to give me on the unused gold that I was selling. The lady helped me immediately and was friendly. I was shocked that I had just left Coins Plus just a few miles away and was quoted $200 more for the pieces that I was selling. I expected it to be less based on the prior reviews that I read, but was shocked by the discrepancy in the prices. I'm glad I did my research before leaving the house and didn't settle for just 1 estimate. I would consider buying jewelry from this company, but if you want to make more money off of your scrap gold, go elsewhere.

We brought in my husband's wedding band that had developed a barb when a braided gold strand broke. This has happened before and it was repaired at another shop last year. The estimate was the same as the final price. The repair looks wonderful and the cleaned ring looked brand new. The repair took less time than estimated.

My husband and I have been going to Markus for years. They have the nicest people working there. Very patient and willing to help out in finding exactly what you are looking for. They know your purchases are going to be with you for a long time, so they have no problem in helping you get what you want. My husband went in several years ago and designed a beautiful pendant with the ladies that work there. He gave them a design, and they made it happen. But, if you are not that creative, they will come up with plenty of ideas for you too.
