Jeff removed all the old cabinets and appliances and installed new ones. He also installed most of the new appliances. He had finishing work to do which included a light rail at the bottom of the cabinets and a crown molding at the top. He had to build a 'Z' shaped wall to support the granite for the step-up eating area. All the appliances were built-in, so he had to deal with wood panels for some of them. He lost his helper after a couple of days, and my husband volunteered to help hang cabinets the next day. He had an issue with us being around asking questions and got frustrated. We thought we were helping. It took a few days for that to settle out. In the end, my husband helped quite a bit as he had no one else. Some of my concerns were around the finishing and detail work where I thought he could be more careful. He did correct things that I pointed out. In the end, the kitchen looks very nice. The plumber was included in his price but we had multiple issues with him and most of his work had to be redone. The electrician was brought in by Jeff but we paid separately for him. There are separate reviews for their work.

The contractor stayed within my budget, was prompt and completed the work very quickly. Maine Street does excellent work.

He was very courteous to us and patient with us. He worked very quickly and his work was reasonably priced. The bathrooms turned out great. We were so pleased that we hired him again to do more work on our house at a later date.

LATER SAID THEY COULDNT DO THE REPAIRS CONTRACTED FOR TO THE DECK. DID COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORK EVEN THOUGH HE WAS TOLD NOT TO DO ANYTHING IF HE COULDNT DO WHAT HED BEEN CONTRACTED TO DO. HAD TO FIGHT HARD FOR A REFUND. NOW WE HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE COME IN AND FIX THIS.
