I bought a double-wide fridge from them, they had to take the doors off to fit into my condo. They incorrectly hooked up two of the hoses on the doors for the water line which leaked water and ruined my hardwood laminate flooring. They came back out and said yea we will fix it. I never heard from them. I finally called the customer service rep in charge of my case and she never returned my call. Now I am waiting to hear back. I would go with them again only because I like their store.

We were replacing a refrigerator that was made for a set space. The salesman, John, did an excellent job helping us find the choices that would fit. They had to order it as it was not in stock at the warehouse. It arrived in a timely fashion. The installation was a pain because of getting it in the house. The service people took doors and hinges off. They brought the unit in, put the pieces together, installed it and made it work. They then removed the old unit. You would never know it happened. We've used them in the past and I will use them again in the future.

We gutted our kitchen and installed new drywall and sub-floor ourselves. One Lowes subcontractor installed the floors and a different contractor installed the cabinets and counter tops. Lowes tried to bill themselves as a project management team but I felt it was up to me to call the contractors and set up dates for measures and installs. There was no integration between the floor install and the cabinet/counter top install.
The flooring contractor showed up very late in the day and did a very poor job installing the luwan board and flooring. He was not the same guy that measured the floor and had issues with the hardwood floor transition. If the guy measuring the floor would of told up to cut back the hardwood we would of done it but now we are stuck with a sloping floor for the transition between the kitchen and dining room.
On the first day the cabinet contractor called at 9am when they were supposed to be onsite to say they were running late and would be here at 11am. Lunch came and went and they called at 1pm to say they were on the way. They arrived around 3 and mostly just planned how to run the dedicated circuit for the microwave. They also got 2 wall cabinets installed. It was stop and go for the next 2 weeks but they did address every concern that came up. I gave them low grades for professionalism because one of the contractors used our bathroom and missed to toilet and left the mess. Maybe it is because I am women but that is gross! The work area was always cleaned up by the end of the day which is great because I have a 4 year old.
After the cabinets were installed Nisbet-Brower came out to measure the counter tops so we had to wait a couple weeks for fabrication. We had already pre-ordered the material at the same time we ordered the cabinets. When the counter tops came in one of the delivery guys dropped it on the way to garage and chipped a corner that we didn't notice until the cabinet contractor came back a week later to complete the install. The chipped corner didn't matter because the counter tops didn't fit so Lowes had Nisbet-Brower rush order more material and remake them on there dime. The only time Lowes install services payed off.
I am happy with how our kitchen turned out. I am disappointed in how long it took from demo 9/5/13  to complete 11/16/13. We were done with our part by the end of September, had to wait a week for floor install then another week to start cabinet installation. Cabinet install was complete by the October 18th but it took another 10 days for counter-tops to come in. Then another 2 weeks when the laser measured counter-tops didn't fit. It was done in time to have Thanksgiving dinner at my house.

It went really bad.  I tore the existing out, and prepped the area.  They had it precut and came to reinstall.  There were shims under the initial, but no shims on the new one.  The guys didn't even come with levels.  There is a 1/4" gap between the top of the countertop and backsplash. The top of the backsplash isn't even flush where it meets ends.  They didn't even caulk!  The installation guys were subcontracted through Lowe's.  This company requires all the money up front, which leaves you with no leverage as having recourse.  I've been in commercial construction for 30 plus years, and this is terrible.  After the installation, I was supposed to have a one year warranty.  I first contacted them in September of 2012.  Finally, they said they would get me in touch with Nesbit Brauer.  This guy comes out and accuses me of damaging it, by leaving water on it.  I have a very clean house and this is not the case.  The quality of the finish work is bad and is beginning to delaminate at the 90 degree meeting point.  Finally, a Lowe's representative came with him, Zoe and Amil, and they said the same thing again.  A second unbiased contractor then comes out at Amil's request, L E Smith, right before Christmas.  He tells Amil that yes the original work was done in a shoddy way.  Amil said he wouldn't be able to get into it until after Christmas.  At the 10th of January, I begin reaching out and haven't been able to reach him.  I spoke to Amy, Mark, and Chad then.  Finally, Chad said that they had ordered another piece.  Next thing I know, Amil calls me Jan 15th and says he is going to come over and see about how this will be replaced.  Amil, Rodney, and the contractor show up and say that I damaged it once again.  Accusing me that the damage was from movement or water.  It seems as though Lowe's is just trying to get out of replacing this countertop.  The store manager, Fausto, then called me the next day and tells me that they will not be replacing it because it was from damage on my part, and the reason for the gap is from my cabinets sinking!  My house is 20 years old! This is all from improper installation, and poor finish skills.  The part that gets me the most is that the assistant store manager lied to me.

The project went very well.  All the old countertops were removed and the new ones installed the same day.  The backsplash required putting the rock up, letting it dry, doing the grout, and 2 coats of sealing.  The installers (two separate days) were efficient and removed and installed the same day.  The blacksplash took a couple of days and it was done as efficiently as time allowed.  No subsequent problems with the materials or the installation.

The experience was great and they did an excellent job. They came to measure everything and the measurements had to be pretty accurate because they cut the granite in slabs. The granite came when they said it would and the people that installed it were the best. I was very happy and my husband was also happy even though he is hard to please.

Pretty smooth overall, there were no major design changes, just all new products. We used our own contractor for most of the install, but the staff at Lowe's was very helpful (Cabinet Dept, Appliance Dept, etc.) and resolved issues quickly. Lowe's contractors were used for countertops, and appliance installation. These contractors did a good job.

I think that the experience went well. There were people there who were willing to help me. When I had questions they were willing to explain and answer my questions. They were very professional and willing to offer opinions and ideas. It was easy to find my way around. I thought that the pricing was good. There were some things that I cheaper at Lowes than I could've at other home improvement stores.

Process was handled efficiently from start to finish: 1. Lowe's. 2. Measurements. 3. Installers. All were very professional and patient/helpful.
