Lefke did a great job of pruning and limbing the trees at our house. Jeremy came out the same week that we called to get us an estimate even during the peak season. Their prices are very competitive and we are very pleased with the end result. Their tools and techniques are best in the business and we had a clean worksite after they were done. I’d recommend Lefke to anyone who needs tree and landscaping services.

Requested an estimate and received one the next day. Due to his backlog, had to wait about 5 weeks before he was able to do the job. On the agreed to date, 3 men showed up and proceeded using ropes to climb to the top of each of the 30 year old trees and removed branches all around to keep the tree in balance. They then lowered themselves about 10 feet and trimmed branches at this level and then repeated the process about another 10 feet down. Then they trimmed using a pole saw branches from the bottom. They then removed all the trimmed branches and fed them into their chipper that they had backed into my driveway. Entire process took about 4 hours for each tree.

I was very pleased with the job done on the maple trees but was not initially satisfied with the crab apple tree as I did not think it was thinned enough. I called the owner, Nick Lefke, who came by a few hours later to see what I meant. He came back with his crew the next morning and they climbed up into the tree and did further branch removal to my satisfaction. They were always polite and cordial throughout the entire process and I got the distinct impression that their objective was to completely satisfy their customers, not just manage their bottom line. Other neighbors had recommended Lefke to me and I was pleased in the end with the job they did and the value I received.

My trees now look good and I think I will now be once again able to grow grass under the maple trees now that some sun can get through.
