FIRST, WHEN I CALLED, I WOKE HIM UP, AND HE WAS NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT. HE AGREED TO COME OUT, BUT THEN RESCHEDULED 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. HE COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM, AND TOLD ME TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE.

CARL IS A MILITARY VETERAN WHO SEEMS VERY HONEST AND SINCERE. HE DID NOT TRY TO CHARGE A LOT OF MONEY FOR UNNECESSARY WORK; IN FACT, WHEN HE PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE, HE TOLD ME NOT TO LET ANY OTHER ROOFERS TRY TO SELL US NEW CHIMNEY FLASHING, BECAUSE IT WOULD BE TOTALLY UNNECESSARY! (THIS, AND THE FACT THAT HE HAS DONE WORK FOR SEVERAL NEIGHBORS' ROOFS, LED US TO PICK HIM FOR THE JOB.) HE SAID HE'S DONE ROOFING WORK FOR OVER 45 YEARS.
