They were really fast and efficient.  They did a really nice job and cleaned up themselves.

My neighbors and I (4 of us) contracted with Klekamp to fill potholes and tar and chip a long driveway / private lane. When they came out to work, another contractor at my house (who does paving work all day in Dearborn Co) noted that the workers were just pilling gravel in the potholes (without anchoring with tar) and randomly spraying tar down in stripes before coating with chips. When confronted, the foreman said he had been doing this for many years and made it clear our inquiries were not welcome. After they left, the rocks quickly (days / weeks) began to disappear from the road leaving behind only the streaks of rock anchored by the random tar spraying. When we complained the owner came out and agreed that it needed to be redone. When they redid the work, it was only slightly better and they didn't move their truck and redo the area underneath of it (too much trouble?). A cople of years on now, the driveway is a mess. Rocks everywhere except on the roadway, potholes right where they originally were, random stripes of gravelled tar. The previous tar and chip job lasted 19 years. The Klekamp job looked awful right away and three years later it looks worse than when they originally came.

They never took the driveway down to the base as we had contracted. It immediately cracked, they would try to repair over and over, but never did as we had initially asked. The driveway is horribly cracked. It is much worse than before we had them work on it. They finally gave up and said that it was because of our trees. They said they would at least seal it, but never came back.

Bryan was the contact and estimator. They did a great job from the estimate to completed project.

WE HIRED KLEKAMP TO REMOVE AND REPLACE OUR ASPHALT DRIVEWAYS, BOTH IN THE FRONT AND SIDE OF OUR HOUSE. THEY CAME OUT AND FINISHED THE JOB IN ONE DAY. THE CREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SCOTT ASSURED THAT THINGS WERE GOING WELL BY SHOWING UP THE MORNING THE WORK WAS DONE, AS WELL AS WITH A FOLLOW UP PHONE CALL AT THE END OF THE DAY. THERE WAS A SMALL PROBLEM WITH PUTTING A CONDUIT IN EACH DRIVEWAY FOR THE PET CONTAINMENT FENCE. SCOTT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACTUALLY REIMBURSED THE AMOUNT IT COST TO PUT THE LINE IN. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
