Joe did a WONDERFUL job on my vent/duct cleaning. He went above and beyond to make sure the work was done right and explained everything along the way. He exceeded expectations!

The two man crew was very efficient, and professional. Took about an hour, and showed me before and after photos of their work. Also took apart the furnace and showed me the issues they found and recommendations.
I was disappointed that the groupon only covered what it did - and that there was $2000 additional of work recommended, $400 for a short term fix. I appreciate they're a business but I felt a bit overwhelmed with all that they recommended and as a new homeowner, almost felt bad for declining as I didn't have that kind of cash available today to complete the service.
They did honor a discount in the future if I chose to complete it at a later date, and the tech was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I scheduled the appointment in February for April 4. They called the morning of service and said it wouldn't be until the afternoon. Told them that wouldn't work since I had a doctor appointment. They agreed to send someone out immediately. Two gentleman arrived within one hour and the process was completed in two hours. NOTE: the Groupon voucher was only for the vents and 1 main. The really dirty stuff was the returns and I'll need to consider having these cleaned at a later date.
Based on the previous reviews I was extremely concerned about receiving a tremendous bill. However, that did not occur.
They did offer additional services such as ultraviolet light installed for $899 (little overpriced) and sanitizing the system for additional charge, but I politely declined. I wasn't pressured to buy anything additional. Their pitch for additional services was reasonable and they treated me with respect. I would use this company again.

Kleenrite called us ahead of time to let us know when they would be arriving.
Tom and Randy were our service technicians.
They were both polite, attentive, patient and professional throughout the service.
They found that we had mold and showed me it.  We agreed that this was not a good thing to be breathing.
Tom came up with a same day solution and resolved the issue.
He also talked us through the service and provided us information on how to maintain our system.
The entire service call took a few hours but well worth it.
This was our first time cleaning our air system and I would highly recommend them.

This is a company that just tries to get in the door and then UPSELL you. Our cost went from $49.95 from the add, to a suggested $810 cost to do the whole house. They "found" soot and other things in the system so recommended all sorts of add ons, disinfectants, anti-bacterial treatments, UV systems etc. Completely ridiculous. When I told them no way, they "called the boss" and were able to arbitrarily knock it down to $630. That makes you feel worse... so you could have done this for that price, but you just wanted to see if I would jump at the $810 first? I took out a bunch of the extras, and got it down to $350 which I still thought was high, but they were already there and set up. Needless to say, I should have checked these reviews first.
This is a service that is hard to tell what kind of job was done. What I do know is they left a layer of black soot all over our floors in several rooms... like they blew it out of the vents and just left it on the floor. The guys were nice and professional... I am sure they are trained to upsell like this.
I would steer clear of this company if I were you!

I only have 8 vents, 1 air return and of course the one main.  They took a dry vac hose in the ceiling and took the vent off.  They cleaned there and then pulled out our leather love seat to get to the air return.  In the process of doing this, they broke off one of the feet.  I brought this to the attention of the person.  They also took off my drier hose and ended up cutting it too short which then it could not connect to my front load drier.  He then goes out to his truck and comes back out with a plastic bottle.  He cut some of the plastic off the bottle and placed it on the drier hose end.  He said he did not have enough supplies and then went on his way.

My own maintenance man came in a reviewed what they did/did not do.  He was able to tell me that they only cleaned out the area and did not do any additional things which they voiced they would.    They ended up handing me a bill of $577.74 instead of the $59.95.  I contact the company owner about this issue and he talked in circles to cover up this situation.  I explained to him that I only signed for the $59.95.
Response from Kleenrite
"I spoke with Member on the date of service, and she expressed her concerns at that time. We did not process the payment for the project based on our satisfaction policy. We arranged an appointment to return and inspect and/or repair any part of the work that needed done. Member called back and cancelled the return appointment and to date has yet to reschedule."

Technician arrived on time and spent about 5 hours doing a very thorough job.  He was polite and neat and explained the whole process before he started.

The service performed was poor.
Ask exactly what the work is to be performed.  Find out if the company must do additional work to do the job completly before they start and what the additional charges will be.
Watch the person set up to see what all they touch.
Make sure you inspect the work before the person leaves thoroughly.

The young man that came and did the work was very pleasant and friendly however, I was not impressed by the general work method of this company. The advertised duct cleaning for $49.95, however it then turns out this does not include 3 additional returns and 1 additional main. They even charged us $25 for removing the access panel - could have done that myself for them if I'd known I would be charged for it! They then tried to convince us to have other unnecessary work done such as cleaning the blower housing which really wasn't dirty as we had just had it thoroughly cleaned as part of a HVAC repair a few months earlier. When I inspected it and said to the guy that it really didn't look dirty to me and had recently been cleaned he backed down with the excuse that this is a standard thing they recommend to clean (for $199.95 by the way). He then showed us some mold in the vents (very minimal) and wanted to sell us both microban (broad spectrum disinfectant for $230) AND Sporicidin (broad spectrum fungicide for $345) AND a UV light air purifier for $599.95. We felt that the sporicidin was more than enough for the very minimal mold. This is one of those companies that advertises a very low price to get in the door and then tries to get as much out of you as possible.
The air duct cleaning itself was also not very thorough. We recently moved and had the air ducts in our new house cleaned by a different company. The upfront cost was $300 for ALL ducts & vents with no extra charges and $75 for sanitizing to kill any mold - they did a much better job cleaning the actual ducts & vents. I decided to write this report after experiencing the difference in service.

I was very satisfied.  I contacted them as a result of a very good price listed in a coupon magazine.  They did perform extra services that they recommended, but I knew the extra services were needed and I paid just over $250 which was comporable to other quotes I received.  The technician was excellent and very professional.  He showed up right on time, and was very neat and tidy with his work - I did not have to clean up after him at all.  They removed an insane amount of dust bunnies from my vents and also cleaned out my dryer vent.

We called about an offer we had seen in a current circular. We had done some research and knew it was a very low price, but knew it was an excellent savings as well. The technician (Dave) arrived on time and from the first moment was extremely polite, and professional. He went through our home with us and explained the process in detail and brought a few areas of concern to our attention. He then let us know what it would take to remedy and most important prevent the issue from getting worse or coming back. We knew we had some issues which led us to call upon the offer, our system hadn't been cleaned in the 14 years we have been in the home. We couldn't be happier with the honesty and professionalism of the technician. We know now much more about the operation of our air system and the importance of keeping up with the maintenance. We were even more impressed when at the finish of the service we were not asked to pay until we were totally satisfied with the work. The company owner even spoke to us to assure the quality and our satisfaction. Thank you Kleenrite and Dave!

The technician was supposed to come Fri. between 2 and 4 and by 4 he still hadn't arrived. I called and found out he would be at our home in about 2 hrs. Rescheduled for the following Mon. A.M. He was supposed to be done in 2 hrs., but it took him 6 hrs. even though our home is not particularly large or dirty. I called the office about an estimate and was asked how many vents and returns I had. I was told the cost would be about $ 170 with the coupon I posessed. The total bill turned out to be considerbly more { $377 ]. Turns out the estimate did not have 2 mains in the quote { $178 ] or access panels {$20]. The mains are the ducts which feed from the furnace to all the other ducts. Everyone has at least 1 on their furnace. Thoughout the cleaning process he tried to sell me every other furnace/duct work procedure under the sun many, many times. And after all this, our house is dirtier than when he started------dust and debris everywhere.
