Ordered kitchen countertop, backsplash, and sink through Home Depot who subcontracted out to KBR. First countertop installation was cancelled during the arrival window because they broke it, wasting my time. Waited over a week for rescheduled installation. That installation was a failure as they forgot to remanufacture the backsplash. Still waiting for backsplash to be installed. KBR subcontracted kitchen sink plumbing. First install was unsuccessful. Leaking handle on new Delta faucet. Second repair visit was told the leak was fixed, only to observe leaking immediately thereafter. Plumber and KBR have offered no correction other than suggestion to try to exchange new (already installed) faucet at Home Depot where purchased. A huge mess for what should have been a simple project. Do not waste your time and money on KBR. Check with Home Depot to ensure they are not subcontracted.

Worst experience of my life. Waited over a month for them to come and measure after they took my money. I decided to remove the old countertops myself. After he measured he said everything is fine so I then wait another month for the install and all this time with no countertops or kitchen sink. The day of the install he takes two minutes and says he can’t install I need a cleat above the dishwasher which the first guy missed. So then have to reschedule a new install which he told me I would get in the next week. Took me almost a week just to get in touch with someone because they never answer their phone. Never again

DO NOT purchase expensive countertops from Home Depot and have them installed by subcontractors hired through KBR on Laidlaw Ave in Cincinnati. You will regret the outcome.

We would recommend avoiding KBR as a counter top supplier/installer at all cost—especially if you value your time, quality, communication, or working with skilled craftsmen. They were in my house 6 different times over 6 months for a simple install of two 4sq ft countertops that should have taken a couple of hours. Additionally, they damaged our vanity, so we had to have furniture finishers out twice to fix damage they had made. They even showed up at my house on the wrong day even though I had used their text message system to reject their suggested install date. They originally installed the wrong dimension countertops even though I had identified a wrong measurement during approval of drawings—they didn’t modify their CAD drawings before cutting. During this visit they drilled the faucet holes incorrectly, drill through one of our new sinks, and did not anchor them properly. They ended up breaking one of the sinks when trying to remove so we were delayed for some time to get a replacement custom order sink. On one visit there was a huge gouge in one of the counters. On another attempt to install the countertops were not the right color and did not match the existing tops. One yet another one of the backsplashes was chipped. During this visit they ran a screw through the front of our brand-new vanity. Luckily this was a piece that could be replaced, but again we had to wait for custom order pieces to be ordered. If that wasn’t enough they tended not to clean up after themselves, would not communicate with me at all so I was always in the dark as the where progress on the project stood. The only thing I can compliment them on is that they did eventually complete the project correctly.

We showed up at KBR without an appointment. (We'd been to so many showrooms that we forgot our contractor had told us to make an appointment.) But everyone there was very accommodating and helpful. They even took us out the "yard" to see a slab of the quartz we were interested in even after showing us tons (maybe literally) of samples. Scott and Chris, the quartz countertop installers, came on the appointed day at the appointed time and did a masterful job. You can barely see the seams! Then today, the "Formica" island countertop was delivered and installed. I didn't catch the fella's names in today's crew but they were in and out in a jiffy and the island countertop looks terrific!

I was impressed with the provider. They did a wonderful job on a job that was not easy. The personnel were very good.

We did have a dispute on the type of edging that they do, we selected the bullnose type of edging. KBR came out to measure and we got the quote from Home Depot they were charging us additional for extra corners. KBR said if we do that type of edging there will be additional charges. Every time we would ask KBR a question about the extra charge they would say “that’s a Home Depot thing” and Home Depot would say the same about KBR. We were persistent with asking and ended up getting $200 - $300 off because they measured wrong. It was a little disappointing that we had to go back and forth to get an answer. Home Depot was going to charge us $576 to do a tear out of the old counter top. To save money my son and I did it and it was very easy and only took a couple hours. We cut it up in small sections and our regular trash guys took it out. Home Depot was going to charge us around $300 to put the plumbing in. To save money we hired our own plumber and he charged me $130. So it’s convenient that Home Depot offers to do the work but you can save money by doing the work yourself or hiring someone else to do it. KBR did a really nice job. They matched the counter top up really well and looks great. They did a really nice job when we went out to look at the slabs. The counter top we wanted was on sale so it was selling pretty fast so we made an appointment and they set some aside so we could come and look at it and purchase it. We are very satisfied with the sink and faucet.

Sales person was very patient and helpful in looking at all their samples and finding 3 great selections.

It went well. They installed our countertop.

They called the day after we had the work done to make sure everything was all right.

The installer was polite, professional and cleaned the counter up beautifully when done.

I am satisfied with the services. I would use them again.
