JonLe Heating-Cooling

My furnace wouldn't kick on after trying to start it for the first time this fall. JonLe had the quickest availability to service the unit of the three places I called. The gentleman that came out courteous and knowledgeable. To make a long story short, there ended up being birds in multiple locations in the furnace which took every bit of three hours to diagnose and clean out. I wouldn't have been too upset if they would have tried to charge me extra for all the time they spent at my house, but they stuck with their initial diagnostic fee of $89. For that reason, they've got my business the next time I have HVAC needs.

I have used several other companies in the past. For the past ten years, I have used Jonle Heating and Cooling exclusively. They have always been very professional, have performed top notch work, and have been fair in their price. Their technicians are honest. There have been several times when they could have easily claimed more work needed to be done and charged more but were honest and saved me money. They are clearly several notches above the rest.

Everything was great. It was a big investment, but they did a great job. The installers were professional, communicated what they were doing and were neat!

From the salesman ( Jeff) to the installation team , we received top notch service. We had been with another HVAC company for over 20 years. We had heard favorable reviews from a few co-workers who had used Jonle so we decided to get an estimate from them. Our former HVAC company quoted a price to us based on information we filled out online. ( No offer of an onsite inspection.)Therefore, when Jeff made an appointment for an onsite review of our A/C needs we were already impressed. Based on Jeff's research and calculations we ended up changing to a 3 ton unit. Everyone involved in the process was very knowledgeable, courteous, personable, and punctual. Even our over friendly puppy was treated very warmly by everyone. We plan to also use Jonle in the future when the furnace will need to be replaced. We are very satisfied with making the switch and hope to have a relationship for many, many years. ( Oh, another "plus" for Jonle: almost 4 years ago we were in the process of buying another house. The inspection needed to be done quickly. We were unable to get an appointment with our former HVAC company and ended up calling several others.. It was Jonle who came through in our hour of need.)

Originally had Furnace/AC installed in May. They were on-time, finished quicker than I thought, explained all, completed paperwork for inspections, etc. Was told by inspector that he didn't expect any problems from JonLe installations because they always did good work. Received 2 free maintenance inspections for first year and had furnace done in November. Pleased with all aspects of experience.

JonLe far surpassed the quality of the seasonal furnace tune up compared to the provider that we have used for the past 12 years and the price was less also. The technician took apart parts of the furnace that have never been cleaned since the original installation. He showed us the part never cleaned before and explained how not cleaning it would eventually compromise our 2 stage blower. He was perofessional, courteous and knowledgeable. He was prompt & JonLe gave us a call 1/2 hour before he arrived as promised. He left the work area spotless. We plan to use JonLe for the spring AC tune up. As a result of the quality and price, we signed up for a $230 service contract that saves us more than $100 over the price of the 2 tune ups and provides discounts on anyother service calls and parts.

I received estimates from 3 heating and cooling companies. Although Jonle was not the least expensive the estimate was comparable with the other 2 companies. I went with Jonle because it received such high ratings and reviews on Angie's List. The salesman was punctual and professional. He took the time to answer all of my questions. The installation of the new system went very well. The installers were prompt, courteous, and professional. I am very pleased with the new furnace and air conditioner (Carrier). I appreciate that Jonle contacts me for seasonal inspection. I would highly recommend Jonle to others.

The technician was prompt, very polite, and answered all of my questions as he performed the PM. He even suggested that we remove some of the landscaping near our air conditioner because it was growing up into the unit.

Have used Jonle Maintenance contract for the last 13 years. When compressor went out called 4 companies for bids. The other 3 companies bid was withing 30 dollars of each other. Jonle's was about $3-400 dollars more

The service was great. We got the appointment pretty quickly, and they answered all of our questions. They were very knowledgeable, and everyone was very nice. I would recommend them. They did a great job.

The technician showed up on time and explained everything he did very clearly. There was a minor hiccup becaue they thought the furnace was electric instead of gas, but they honored the original estimate (I didn't even notice). I signed up for an A/C check in the spring as well.

call the morning of appointment. 4 hour window provided. took care of the cleaning/checkup. I ask them if there was any problem with the unit.... did not want any problems during winter. as he explained, all checked out fine. can never guarantee a problem could not come up later, but at present time.... no problems, all checks out okay. I specifically ask this question, because another company had been here 2 weeks previously (had to use them because transferred contract to my house from mothers home she sold, because they said had to finish out the contract or pay additonal 200 plus dollars to cancel out. when their service person made his checkup, he said that i needed approximately 3 plus thousand in repairs to keep unit working during the winter.... but highly recommended i put in a new unit. I said could not do this right now and then after they left called Jonle to have them do their service to find out what they said about the unit. needless to say very very upset with other company.

I have NEVER had such a COMPLETE oil furnace cleaning and yearly check-up. The two specialist, Rob and Kyle, were outstanding. I'm the type person that watches when my furnace is being worked on......the two specialist were so friendly and answered all my questions. My furnace has never, never, never had such a complete cleaning on all inside parts. JonLe should be very proud to have two very knowledgeable pleasant employee's.

I have been with them for several years and I'm very happy with their service. They provide a lot of discounts since I have a contract so it covers a lot of repairs and service calls.

It was a difficult installation. Their people solved the problems and installed the furnace with severe restraints. They had about 4 or 5 different professionals on the job. They coordinated very well together. They had people that did the piping and people to take care of the electrical and gas.

OUTSTANDING service! Frank Boekerman, as sales rep, and installers Jim O'Brien and Rob Ohmer as installers completely met and actually exceeded our expectations. I couldn't have asked for better service. Price was competitive, warranty and the quality of the unit installed was better than others.

Salesman came over in evening at our convenience to give us an estimate. He was knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. We called him on his cell phone the next day with clarifying questions, and by the end of the call asked him to schedule the installation. The two installers arrive about 1/2 later than expected, but got right to work. They and the salesman solved a wiring issue and all was done and cleaned up in 7 hours. No problems! All has been good for the last two weeks.

They did an excellent job. They are very professional and I couldn’t ask for anything else. Their price was more reasonable than some of the others. They timeliness was good as well. I would use them again.

They are very honest and do a great job. They are also very thorough.

Frank Boeckerman replied quickly to my request for an estimate for a new furnace and scheduled an appointment to look at our home and the existing furnace. He arrived on time for the appointment and went through the entire house, looking at the existing vents and cold air returns in every room. Not all of the service providers I contacted did this. One, for instance, just headed straight for the basement and never looked at the rest of the house. Frank emailed an estimate within 5 business days of his on-site visit. The estimate was very professional and complete, including and detailing every component we discussed. Frank included a new coil in his estimate, which none of the other service providers did. He explained that it was critical to make sure that the furnace blower, etc. was compatible with our existing AC unit. Made sense to me--plus the existing coil was the original (17 years old) and may have not lasted much longer anyway. In addition to the furnace and the coil, we also were looking at a whole house humidifier and a minor modification to the existing duct work to increase its efficiency. JonLe's price was not the lowest I received (hence the B score in that area), but was still competitive with the others and was reasonable for the amount of work quoted, the completeness of the solution and the quality of the products they recommended. They also included a free one-year maintenance plan, which included two inspections at no charge. (They have since performed both of the inspections, as promised, and they were professionally done with no issues.) I accepted the proposal and within a few days the 3-man crew arrived to install the equipment, arriving right at the scheduled time. They completed the installation in less than a day (about 6 hours), including decent clean-up of the work site, getting all of the paperwork signed and showing me all of the service and maintenance stuff I needed to know. The crew was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Frank followed up the next day on the installation to make sure everything OK; I told him I was perfectly satisfied. One note: When I went to fire up my central air for the first time after the furnace installation (June 2011) it did not work properly--the coil froze. I immediately called JonLe, they apologized for the problem and had someone at my home within a few hours. The service guy spent a couple of hours fixing the issue and then going over everything with a fine tooth comb to make sure there were no other issues. Apparently something was not performed quite right on the initial installation, but JonLe's immediate and professional response to the problem was impressive. Mistakes happen--it's how you respond to and fix them that counts. JonLe earned high marks in customer support, which reinforced to me that I made the right decision in selecting them to do the work. Highly recommended!

Technician showed up on time, was very professional . Took his time and was very complete.

In the 15 years I have had this service contract I have had two occassions where the AC system broke, once for a switch and once for the fan motor on the compressor. Both occassions there was a technicin at my door within a couple hours of my call for service. The technician had the necessary parts on hand an we were back up and running in no time.

I looked them up on Angie’s List and they did a fabulous job. I was impressed that they took out the complete fan and expertly cleaned it. I will definitely have them back again.

After reviewing Angie's List, I arranged for three contractors to bid on a new AC/Heatpump system for my home. All three were rated highly and promptly showed up when scheduled, measured, answered questions and promised to send written estimates from which I would select. So far, so good. Two bids came in and I waited for JonLe to reply so I could end my suffering without airconditioning and get the ball rolling. Well, after four weeks, still waiting. Needless to say, another contractor got my business in the meantime and the new system is working beautifully. I'm left with the conclusion that Jonle didn't want this contract. Fair enough. At the very least, a call or email stating their lack interest would have been appropriate. At least I was considerate enough to notify the contractor that I didn't hire. A highly rated HVAC company like JonLe could have done similarly and not postponed the timing of my install a couple of weeks in very hot/humid conditions.

They are professional and punctual. They really seem to know their business. The workers who come out are good. I would recommend them. I think they are kind of pricey but that they are so professional, they appear to be so knowledgeable and they are easy to work with, it does not matter. I don’t know how they are in comparison to others because we have used them and inherited them when we moved to the house. I would use their services again in the future.
