I have used Mike Jones plumbing several times in the past. In additional to this job, he has installed a cleanout in my front yard of my previous house and cleaned the main drain. Jones the plumber has very reasonable prices. I had asked another plumbing service to quote this work and their hourly rate was $45 higher. Also, in previous work, he was a better value than other quotes I recieved.
For this most recent job the plumber worked for about an hour. The plumber went to diagnose the problem by checking to see if the roof vent was clogged and checking the overall plumbing system. He found out that the roof vent was not clogged, and the smell was due to a bad seal in the bathroom and a dirty drain in the laundry room. He provided instructions on how to clean the drain and replaced the seal in the bathroom.
