 + -1 moreSee above comments. Given the poor service delivery I really expected Jones to meet my customer needs. While the receptionist was polite, she was also curt and appeared to dismiss my concerns except to say I would be refunded the cost of the flowers.
Description of Work: I ordered flowers on 2/10/12 for delivery on 2/14/12. When there was no delivery as of 7:00 p.m. I phone the answering srvice which told me that all deliveries have been completed. I phoned the office on 2/15/12 and spoke to the recceptionist who informed me the driver stated the house was dark and he could not make the delivery. I told her we were home and lights were on including the porch light. She asked about scheduling another delivery and I told her only if Jones would send the flowers for free so as to address my poor customer service. She refused. I the requested a refund and she agreed.

Description of Work: I needed loose flowers for a ceremony. The folks at Jones were extremely helpful. They have sale prices on loose flowers on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so they helped me coordinate the pickup so I could get the sale price. The shop in Blue Ash is their design center, but they are glad to take customers in and help you pick out flowers.

Description of Work: Delivered beautiful basket of potted flowering plants for a funeral. This was a basket that had individually potted plants inside (about a dozen) with some fresh cut flowers and greenery surrounding them. It was beautiful, professionally done, and delivered as needed.

 + -1 moreA friend's college-age son died suddenly and I wanted an especially nice arrangement. The clerk was very helpful with suggestions and I decided on an arrangement of white flowers and simple greenery. She showed me sample photos. The flowers were delivered on time and it was a beautiful arrangement, although perhaps a bit less artistic than the sample photo. In any case the flowers and greenery were very fresh.

 + -1 moreIn my opinion, Jones is the best florist in the Cincinnati area. Their flowers are always so fresh and their personnel always so helpful. One of my favorite purchases is asking for a small arrangement of fresh, spring flowers and on the spot they whip up something beautiful. I highly recommend Jones The Florist for a variety of needs! They are simply outstanding.

 + -1 moreMissed the delivery of roses to my wife on Valentine's Day 2006. They insisted the delivery was refused when it had not been. They also offered a complimentary arrangement that never came. I was offered a small discount on my next order. I suspect that I will not use it.

 + -1 moreIt was dreadful. They never apologized. In fact, the saleswoman essentially told me I was wrong. I am trying to do what I believe to be a very important thing in my daughter's life. I believe that a girl's first flowers should come from her daddy & I get told that what I asked for is not what I wanted. This saleswoman is certifiable.
Description of Work: I ordered flowers for my daughter, who was in her first play. I specifically asked for a spray of colorful flowers & got a bridal bouquet of red & orange roses. While it was very lovely, it was inappropriate for a little girl in her first play. Your salespeople need to be well-rounded & understand that every occasion & circumstance has its own standards of presentation.

 + -1 moreTHE ROSES WERE NICE, THOUGH THEY SENT 13 INSTEAD OF 14. VERY PROMPTLY ADJUSTED THE BILL, THOUGH I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED 14 ROSES (ANNIVERSARY). THANKFULLY I HAD THE CARD SAY 'HAPPY 14TH' WHICH SAVED ME HAVING TO CONVINCE MY WIFE I KNEW THE NUMBER OF YEARS WE HAD BEEN MARRIED. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A BIT STEEP.
