I contacted Joan Roberts 3 years ago when I was interested in selling my home and purchasing another. She was so helpful and gave me such good info and even when I didn't make any move after my pre-approval, she was so gracious and invited me to contact her if I ever needed anything she could help with. Recently, I decided to try to cash out /refinance my current home, due to different circumstances. I didn't even know if I could qualify for a loan. I contacted Joan and without missing a beat, she jumped right in to see if she could help. We started out by applying for one type of loan but then were able to go for a better deal once the appraisal was done. She had to completely redo the application for me and yet, never batted an eye. Working with Joan was a breeze. She kept me informed at every step and often called to touch base. Any questions I had, I could call or email and have an answer right away. She so friendly and professional and was a joy to work with. She really helped keep my stress level to a minimum. We completed the closing a few days ago. I am just very pleased not only with the result, but with the way Joan and her team helped me through the process. Thanks again Joan!

The process was extremely smooth. Joan goes out of her way to be patient and explain every step of the process. I recommend her for both first time homebuyers as well as experienced investors. When asking for a location, this review process does not allow me to put in my home information without the exact address, but I would like to add that THEY come to YOU if you need them too - and you can close in the comfort of your own home!

Overall, the process with Joan/ Fairway worked out fine in the end, but getting to that "end" was a huge challenge. We started out the process by receiving a pre-approval letter from Fairway to purchase a home BEFORE selling our current home. But after we put an offer in on a home, and that offer was accepted, all of a sudden Fairway seemed to waffle, which caused significant stress and anxiety for us as homebuyers with excellent credit. Although Joan was always kind, respectful, and professional, we felt that she lacked some attention-to-detail. As an example, on multiple occasions, we had to discuss the same information with her and she responded as if she was hearing the information for the first time. Having that experience while ALSO selling our current home, made this process feel like complete madness. As mentioned previously, in the end, everything worked out. However, from the moment we were under a purchase contract up to the VERY LAST MINUTE of the loan closing, we did not have full confidence in Joan/ Fairway. Still, Joan is one of the most honest and sweetest people you could ever meet.

Joan provided me with an excellent loan and low rate to fit my needs. She was very responsive and kept me informed every step of the way. She cared about my loan and even attended my closing. I would definitely recommend her to others.

FANTASTIC !! There is no one else I would ever consider handling my Loan than JOAN ROBERTS at Fairway Mortgage!! From the very beginning with a Pre-Approval Letter to the closing Joan was right there for Me!! She has an incredible team as well. Much of my dealings were handled over the computer but there were times I wanted to come in, and that was so nice because Joan works with you and your comfort zone in mind. She patiently explained things to me when I didn't understand until I did! Joan is Always up-to-date on the current updates of the market, interest rates, and the RIGHT Loan that fits her client , the best!! Joan makes the process of refinancing as easy as possible. And that's no small thing when there are 3 going on at the same time!!! Over the years I have engaged Joan's services many times, and I don't even shop around anymore because I KNOW I am getting the most careful, honest, thorough attention one can get. An added bonus - they will even come to your house to do all of the paperwork!!! I would recommend Joan for any seasoned real estate investor as well as a first time homebuyer - she really cares!

Excellent! Joan Roberts stepped us through the loan process and thoroughly explained what was happening every step of the way. She provided options and suggestions as we went through the process. She did not mind when we re-asked questions or needed something re-explained. She was flexible when working with us on signing / returning document, setting up the closing, etc... The closing cost estimates were very close to the actual costs. We would definitely do business with Joan / Fairway Mortgage again. We strongly recommend!

The process went perfectly. Very fast, and professional. Joan answered every question almost immediately. She was able to receive the loan information and close the deal in less then 3 weeks, when another company couldn't get it done in 2 months! Excellent experience!

Joan Roberts at Fairway Mortgage was fantastic as always! I am in the Real Estate Industry and have worked with her on numerous occasions as she helped several of our clients purchase their own homes. However, this was the first time I had worked with her for my own personal benefit. Even though I was very familiar with the process, it is very different when it is for your own home. 

We started to work with Joan several years ago. We had had some financial issues in the past which prevented us from purchasing at the time and we knew it would be a while before we could get a traditional loan. However, we met with Joan so that we could go over what our options were and what we could do to improve our situation. She told us that due to loan guidelines, we would need to wait 3 years before we could get a traditional loan. We decided to enter into a land contract with the seller in the meantime. However, Joan gave us some advice on how to improve our credit so that when the time came, we would have no issues refinancing. She even gave us referrals for credit counselors. 

When it finally came time that we could possibly get a traditional loan, Joan held our hand every step of the way, reassuring us. Since we had been through so much leading up to this point of I was very worried that we had not done enough to be able to refinance. But Joan was there to put my fears to rest.

The loan process was as smooth as possible. Yes, there was lots of paperwork, but Joan was very good about making sure that we got everything in in a timely manner so that there were no issues. She was in constant communication with us to make sure we knew what was needed and when.

We did have a slight delay in the closing, but that was at no fault of Joan's. The seller was very slow with his follow-up.  But Joan kept on him and us to make sure she got the required paperwork as quickly as possible. All-in-all we only were delayed for a couple of days. 

I have worked with dozens of loan officers in the past on closings for our clients and none of them compare to Joan. They do not respond timely or at all and deadlines mean nothing to them. I would highly recommend Joan to anyone. She has always been very professional, in constant communication and always quick to respond

The service they provided was absolutely flawless. They made the process of getting our mortgage loan so easy and when we had questions they answered and responded to them without delay. We used them because they were highly recommended by many and now we know why. We would recommend them to everyone we know and our realtor was so impressed, she now recommends them to her clients as well.

Excellent. Joan is the best mortgage broker I've ever worked with. She is professional, personable and knows her stuff. She is very thorough and kept us informed of where we were at in the process and what additional documents or information were needed. She helped with what I thought might be a difficult situation--I changed jobs in the middle of the mortgage application process, and she made it work. Plus, she's just a nice person! I can't recommend her highly enough.

My experience with Joan Roberts was excellent. She was very patient in answering questions and willing to take time to go trough documents. The pre-approval process was very thorough, so that by the time we wanted to go ahead with the loan, there were only a few documents that needed to be updated. 
Although the law had just changed in October, Joan Roberts and her team, made sure that we closed in a timely manner. We even managed to close one week before the estimated original closing date. 
Communication with Fairway Mortgage is very simple as everything  can be handled electronically which makes the communication very fast. Joan always responded to my calls fast. Always called back. And she made it a point to personally come to our closing, which was very nice and she did not have to do that. So she really cares about the people she works with. I was very pleased with the overall experience and would definitely recommend Joan to other people and will  certainly consider her again in the future for myself.

Joan Roberts and the team she works with was excellent.  Every person I dealt with was quick to return calls, answer emails, and provide advice as we needed it. We actually completed the entire loan process from the comfort of our home.  All correspondence and document transfer was handled via Fairways secure website and we closed the loan on our kitchen table.  I would recommend Joan and Fairway to anyone looking for a home loan.

My wife and I have worked with Joan Roberts for years and she ALWAYS gets our first pass when we are buying or refinancing a property, and 9 times out of 10 she gets the business. I was a first time homebuyer in 2009 and Joan made the process as easy as it could possibly be. She was thorough, patient, diligent, and researched every possible loan situation to fit our needs in the best way. My wife introduced me to Joan after years of partnering with her on investment property. The number of loans closed through Joan Roberts and whatever company she happens to be with at the time are too many to count. I say and quot;whatever companyand quot; not to indicate that Ms. Roberts moves frequently or sporadically, but to indicate that she attaches herself to the most reputable company that offers the widest range of options at a particular time.
