We purchased a house with a much larger piece of property and we did not have a riding mower yet. They were able to come out within two days of calling them. They came out about once a week for about a month. They did a good job with the work and my neighbors even complimented their work. We would use them again, but now we have a riding lawn mower.

The owner was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.  He even accommodated a request to complete the job quickly before we had company visiting.  After several frustrations with contractors, it was very refreshing to have such a pleasant experience.   One of our neighbors stopped by just to tell us how nice it looked.  People don't normally do that in the city. We are very happy!

One of several quotes I requested through Angie's. Not the lowest bidder, best defined plan! Initially I requested a clean up & clearing. Responses was "sounds straight forward, I'll stop buy & send you a quote" after looking it was,"we need to talk & walk this through." My property was a mess, & I knew it. Andrew was straight forward & broke the quote into reasonable sections for both our benefits. Quick visits over a couple weeks to reduce things that needed time to die & then a 4 day attack on everything that needed to go!! I have something I can maintain again! He was happy to walk me through replanting options going forward, came in under initial quote so we agreed he would keep things under control until winter to prevent a spring surprise, at the originally agreed upon price. Communication was excellent! I knew who, when & where, or why? via my preferred method of contact. Are their cheaper? Yes! Got what I wanted & when & it was managed with thought, so I didn't have to....

We had a hard time connecting.  I work in the evenings, they were available only in the evenings.  Once we did connect.  He had very good ideas about how to redesign the front yard.  Unfortunately the final design contained none of these ideas and sought to just replace the ivy.  The design was delivered in a timely professional manner.

It was a long time ago, but they were fine as far as I remember.

The service was fine. They did a good job and were easy to work with. They weeded, did leaf clean up and general landscaping.

Things went well when the weather cooperated with the install.  JD was very accommodating working around the deck builder and working with me to pick out plants.  After the first night the plantings were in the deer got to a couple of them and JD replaced those plants.  There were a couple adds but all were agreed to prior to the work being completed and the adds were added at my request.  Everything went as planned and JD was very easy to work with.  I would use them again and recommend them to others.

It went very well.  We had some communication delays, but other than that very professional and will definitely have them come out again next year.

JD Dunninaday Landscapes did terrible. The plants were all the same and then one is different and it's huge and it stands out like a sore thumb. I think my husband called him and I don't know if ne just never got back with us. I think he did that group-on. I think he was overwhelmed and got more business than he probably bargained for and just couldn't handle it. We would not use him. As a matter of fact, we didn't use him this year.

We were trying to sell our home and were living in our current home as well.  They were taking care of both homes from February through May.  This included snow removal in the winter and continued to take care of the lawns into May and June.  We had a lot of showings at the home we were trying to sell and they worked very hard to keep that house looking pristine.  The house ended up selling very quickly, and I think that this company’s work had a lot to do with it. We even had some slight damage to the deck at that home and they fixed that for us very quickly, so that it did not affect any showings that we had lined up.   They were even great about receiving last minute emails from me letting them know we have an upcoming showing for the home and if they had not just tended to the yard they would fit us in to get it done.  The owner was out to the new home just last evening and we are going to update some landscaping that they have been working on with us for the last 2 years.

They did an excellent job in a timely manner. The owner fit my job  in very quickly so that I could get my house up for sale.My backyard looks good again. With all the overgrowth removed the yard looks 30% larger .

Andrew was very responsive. It was a little challenging to execute the work because of the weather, but he did a good job of communicating as needed. The only issue I have with the finished product is that I had expressed my preference for black satin mulch and he had stated that the triple hardwood is the same thing. I don't at all care for the appearance. I think it looks like dirt without mulch. So, now I need to go top dress the entire yard with what I want. Although not a huge issue, it's something I feel strongly enough about to fix.

I was very proud of the job they did for us. Cutting the grass out at first and then applying soil and finally laying the Sod. The job went smoothly and without any problems. They cleaned up the street where they unloaded everything after they were finished. The Owner Andrew provided us with a Watering Guide and as of posting this review our grass looks like it came from Ireland its so Green. I would use these guys again in a New York Second without any hesitation for landscaping needs in the future.

I have used this company for several years now.  Their work is always first class.  Last fall they also did some leaf removal and trimming of bushes and perennials.  They are always willing to discuss and make suggestions on lawn care.  Prices are reasonable.

I purchased the Angie's List deal to have my yard mowed. I was able to get in touch with Kyle, who said he would send be over within a few days to give me an estimate on my lawn. Eight days later, I received an email with a quote for my lawn. I wrote back within two hours and accepted his price, and asked him to please start at his earliest convenience. He said he would be over the next Monday. He did come over, saw the yard, and realized the person he had asked bid on my yard had estimated it $10 too low. He said because it was late and he needed to leave town the next day, compounded with rain earlier in the day had pushed him behind schedule, he did not mow my yard...and he did not tell me.
I checked in a few days later to see what was going on, we exchanged several emails and finally Friday night, he came over. He explained the situation, said this wasn't how he normally like to do business.  He mowed my yard and said because the person he had bid my lawn came in $10 under, he wouldn't mow it again....even though I offered to pay him $10 more. 

They were excellent and scheduling was fine. I have used them at least 3 or 4 times since.

took several weeks to finally get the crew started d/t communication issues and overbooking, but once started the job got done in a relative short time

I first used them around 2012. They were very responsive, timely, etc. I continued to utilize them, but they became a lot less responsive. It would take more than a week to get a response. Sometimes the job would not get finished for several weeks...even though it was simple to do.  I responded to their fall email soliciting business for winter clean-ups. I was told that they would get back to me but it didn't happen. Basically, they are a great company, but I suspect that they are growing quickly and need to hire someone who can take care of the "back office" while others are in the field.  The owner is a hard worker and a great person. I hope that they get better. Sometimes companies go through growing pains. I think that they are at that point.

Company always does excellent work and I rely on them for both our home and the house we have for sale.  Andrew responds quickly and the work is always as promised.  All the mowing of our yards during the year is done by JD Dunninaday Landscapes and we have many compliments on your yard and how it is maintained - all due to Andrew's attention.  Excellent company, excellent work whether general maintenance or large landscape project.  I can't say enough good things about them.

They did a really great job. There were no additional fees with the Big Deal. Three individuals came out and it was easy to communication with them while they were here doing work.
