I'm pleased with their service. They are quick to respond, quality of work is good, and they do what they promise.

Came out for consultation and provided good recommendations to use currrent AC unit for a couple days. Flushed lines and installed AC unit two days later. Worked quickly. They were all professional.

Replaced furnace, thermostat, and hot water heater. They were processional, responsive, and worked quickly.

They added me to the schedule quickly even though they were booked solid. Air conditioner was not working at all but identified it as a minor problem and they showed me how to prevent it in the future. Very professional and very helpful. I will definitely use them in the future and would highly recommend this company.

JJ Smith came out on the day promised, and completed the job in about 6 hours. They did a professional looking job and cleaned up well. When I discovered my furnace's condensation pipe was leaking after they left, they came back within 30 minutes of my calling and fixed it.

They came out the same day, gave an estimate, and came to do the job in 2 days. They came when they said they would and did what they said. I am very satisfied with their service.

They did good work. They were good. They were rated good on Angie's list, so that is why I used them and they used Trane, which graded good on Consumer Reports. So, that's why I went with them.

Called at 8am left a message with office. Office called me back at 9:06am to tell me repairman was coming this morning after they said it would be this afternoon. He arrived, went right to work, said he smelled like something was burning and found the issue (shorted main power wiring from circuit breaker inside furnace). Thirty minutes or so later all was repaired. Asked Chris to check the Freon level. He stated pressure was good. My furnace was installed in 1989 and continues to run this morning. Thanks to JJ Smith repairman.

I have a maintenance agreement with them so that is $190 and all I pay for are the parts like any part they replace and they only do that in the spring. It really comes down to the reliability. I trust that the maintenance agreement is real and I do get regular follow-ups twice a year. If something goes wrong, I know that they will put me in a higher priority.

I got quotes from quite a few companies and decided to go with J J Smith because they rated very well on Angie's List, they sell Trane equipment which rates very well in Consumer Reports, their price was very competitive and it included installing a new gas line from the meter to the furnace and removing the old oil tank from the basement. Other companies ether were unwilling to do these things or charged additional to do them.
I'm a bit demanding.  Not only do I want things done right, I want everything looking good, straight and level.  These guys did an excellent job and impressed me with their attention to detail.  We are quite happy with their work, the furnace is working very well and we highly recommend J J Smith.

It's a small company. They're only about 2 miles away from my residence. They're quick to respond. They have personalized service. They seemed to be flexible about being able to schedule appointments. They're pretty personable too. They seemed to know their technicalities.

The week of the scheduled installation arrived and I was contacted by the owner of J J Smith to see if I would mind delaying our installation by a week in order for J J Smith to make emergency repairs/replacements to three homeowners whose systems had failed over the weekend. I was agreeable and was contacted later with a new scheduled installation date.

On the scheduled installation date, the crew showed up promptly and on time and proceeded to install protective covering on the flooring where they would be bringing in and removing equipment and materials. Shortly thereafter, Andy Smith (the owner's son), who had prepared our quote, showed up to direct his crew and review with them the scope of the work. I was impressed.

The entire project took approx. a day and a half, as they had indicated. At the completion of the work, the crew removed all left-over materials and cleaned up. I was instructed in the operation of the system, and finally Andy reviewed with me the warranty information and the recommended maintenance intervals.

I was truly impressed by the courteous nature, technical knowledge and professionalism of the office staff, the work crew and especially Andy Smith.

The tech was at the home for a couple of hours and scheduling wasn't a problem.  He even showed up early!

One of the hottest days of the whole summer and our system broke down. The response to my plea for service was courteous, prompt and reasonably priced. With our severe summers AND winters, that is important to me. Chris was polite, went right to work, didn't try to sell me more of anything and had everything up and running before long. Liked the service so much, we signed up for their service plan.
