Things did not go well from the beginning. When the demo was done a pile of tile and drywall was left sitting in the middle of the garage. When the work was completed the garage was never fully cleaned up. We had to sweep and throw away some materials that were left behind. After the work was supposedly completed we discovered that the sink drain was not properly reconnected and was leaking. The owners partner/ employee came out and fixed that. By that time we had discovered that the handles for the shower were not properly connected and the first time we tried to use them they fell right off the wall. Ben tried to fix it but stated some of the tile was going to have to come back off the wall to fix the problem. He said that they would get get to us. After this I heard nothing for almost a month. I tried to call Ben and Steve and got no response. Finally after I opened a complaint with the BBB Steve finally called me back. I expressed my discomfort at having him finish the job because of all the mistakes that had been made. He agreed to pay to have the work completed by someone of my choosing. After I got the work done and sent him the invoices he said he would no longer pay unless I closed the complaint with the BBB. In an attempt to get my money back I did just that. He than said he has just set new terms for this kind of situation and he would pay me in 30 days. That was July. I still have not received any money and he has cut off all contact. I reopened the complaint with the BBB, who have spent the last three months trying to contact him as well. He has been incredibly rude, hostile, and very unprofessional in his dealings with me. I regret hiring him and would never recommend him to anyone.

I initially called this company as a result of a deal they were offering here on Angie's list for a full bathroom remodel for a set price. Upon discussion I was told that yes my bathroom would qualify but I wanted additional things done that were not part of the deal and I would do better billing out separately.
We discussed what work I wanted done and communication from this point on was a problem. I got little help figuring out what I needed but was expected to supply most everything. I got everything together then left town with my kids leaving my husband behind to let the workers in. This was done since it was the kids bathroom being worked on. My husband never knew when workers would arrive. Their showed up when ever they felt like it and some days not at all with no communication. The job that was quoted a week took over 2.
No protective draping was used. My solid wood stairs were scratched up from dirt and chunks of drywall that was tracked all over my house. My computer desk across the hall from the bathroom had a thick layer of drywall dust all over it. They made a mess and never cleaned up anything. They accessed the attic through my closet and got insulation all over all my clothes resulting in my having to wash everything.
Aside from the mess the job was not done well and I need to pay someone else to repair some things. The tile is not all flush it sticks out unevenly in places. They did not caulk around the edges in most places. they chipped my tub, hung the towel bar crooked, left a hole in the drywall where a light was installed. The vanity that was painted white was not prepped or primed at all so the paint is already peeling off. The same thing is happening with the window sill they painted. The wall is uneven and the paint is very splotchy and noticeably not even.
My back splash is not spaced evenly. You can see where each tile sheet ends by the side of the gaps. Nothing was put down to protect my counters. I spent over an hour cleaning and scraping backer cement and grout off my $6000 stone counter top. The back splash haze was never cleaned off properly and there are gaps between a number of tiles with no grout at all. I can see straight through to the wall. They did not grout or caulk the edges where the back splash meets the cabinets and the kitchen window making it obvious how uneven their edge cuts are.
Upon completion of the job I was given an itemized final bill with ridiculous charges such as $110 to install a towel bar and $38 to instal a toilet paper holder. I disputed these charges and asked for the invoice for my tile order. At first Steve informed me that Angies list would not back me in a dispute because I did not purchase the deal through them. He also told me that he would charge me for things he had left off if I continued to complain. In the end the contractor Steve agreed to reduce these costs somewhat and reduced my tile charge which I found odd since the tile was paid for before work started. At this time I informed Steve that his workers had left a large mess he offered to return but since I felt cheated and threatened I told him I didn't want him back in my house. After this I discovered that the bathroom door no longer fit and I had to have someone out to trim it so it fit.
Once the door was back on the first bath one of my kids took flooded my dinning room. I called Steve who was difficult to reach. He sent the plumber out to look at it who did the original work. At this time I discovered the plumber was a subcontractor and I never did get a straight answer on if he is even licensed. At first they said this was not related to anything they did. 32 years that bathroom didn't leak and they totally redo it and it leaks a waterfall and they insist it was not their fault. It was actually my husband who figured out it was the overflow on the tub. It was not connected properly. Water flowed into my dining room downstairs and down the wall into my basement. The plumber and Steve insisted if we left the ceiling open for a week it would dry on its own. Steve refused to give me his insurance information and my insurance told me I should let them try to fix it to avoid a claim that would hike my rate. The plumber claimed to fix the tub and that night when a kid took a shower again if flooded all over again. At this point I was accused of sabotage. I was told I must be having my kids jump in the tub (they are teenagers not small) it turned out the over flow still was not hooked up right.
At this time I demanded water remediation supervise that things dry out properly since my son is allergic to mold. I lost another 2 weeks never knowing when the plumber was coming to deal with leak repair. My electric bill was higher due to dehumidifiers and fans. The final repair looks like crap and the drywall patch on the ceiling is already cracking and they got ceiling paint all over my crown molding around the room. The plumber left on the last day not even telling me he was leaving or checking if the job was satisfactory. Steve the contractor never called or emailed to follow up that things were satisfactory. I will now need to pay someone to fix the dinning room ceiling properly. I am concerned my steps need to be refinished the scratches are so deep and the bathroom wall needed leveled, repainted and patched as well as the vanity needs to totally be redone and the back splash needs grout filled in and proper caulking. This has been a nightmare.

I have been unable to reach anyone at this company for several weeks now and my calls have not been returned. Are they still in business?

t is a nightmare!  It has been the worst experience of my life!  They need to finish so much and I can't get in touch with them.  I have tried calling them 5 or 6 times and they haven't returned my calls.  The tile guy was very good!  Everything else has been a disaster.  They don't have any input or suggestions.  Just terrible.  Their communication is poor.  I never knew when they were going to show up.
