In the summer of 2013, I paid Scott Pangburn owner of Impressive Creations $16,320.00 to install a new driveway and retaining walls on my property. Work was complete 08/28/2013. This was a lot of work and at first the work appeared to look really nice. However, within four months the top layer of the driveway started ?spalling? or breaking apart. I?m not talking a little bit, I?m talking entire sections started essentially crumbling apart. Then the driveway started cracking between areas that were purposely cut as expansion joints. Essentially because the concrete wasn?t poured thick enough in some areas, the driveway in some places has lateral cracks running from one side to the other cutting the slabs in two. Also because they poured the concrete up to the retaining walls without actually cutting in expansion joints on the concrete below the retaining walls, the driveway between my retaining walls also started to break apart. Finally, most of my expansions joints themselves weren?t put in with a traditional decorative look, they were cut in with a concrete saw so the edges of the joints themselves are brittle and break apart easily making the driveway look even worse. Basically for a brand new driveway that is supposed to last twenty plus years and concrete work that cost me a huge chunk of my savings- I now have a driveway that is breaking apart within months after it was poured. Worse, I can?t get Impressive Creations to come here to fix it. I notified Impressive Creations owner Feb,19 2014 what was going on and he kept telling me he would get a hold of the concrete supplier to get this addressed- but nothing is happening. I hate to have to leave negative feedback on a small business but this has to be fixed and it seems he?s just not that serious about taking care of it.
