Very professional and thorough. Got it done quickly and advised I reset vents. Showed me all the vents and how the should be set for summer/winter. Marked them fo me. Very helpful and we are now mercifully cool the same afternoon we called.

This was an emergency call. Response time was quick. When the mechanic arrived he was professioanl and friendly. This was the first time a heating and air company charged me a fair price and exactly what they quoted over the phone. Bravo!

It’s really complicated because I had a problem. Basically they wouldn’t show what the problem was. There was a problem in my system which caused the heat pump not to cool. They said they checked everything out and if it continued they would have to do a more expensive checking. They would have to do a leak test. I then found out that it’s a system that shouldn’t lose free on. If you lose that much free on, you definitely got a problem. They should have done a test to find out what was going on right then. They should have at least said something to me. I guess I have to admit that I’m old and I’m not aware of what’s going on with the heat pump. I did have a serious problem. I then tried a couple of months later to talk to the owner of the company. They don’t really have a service manager. I went to talk to him because I met him at my daughter’s house. So when I called and left a message as to why I want to talk to him, and I tried for three consecutive days and he never had the courtesy to call me back. So I went and looked for another company to do business with. What they did that day when they showed up was fine, but when there is a problem you really need to tell your customer that you got a serious problem. So I went to another company and as a result I ended up spending another $400 on service calls. I then ended up having a need to replace my entire heating and air conditioning system because of the free on leak that intermediated the heat pump and part of my furnace and the lines. So I ended up spending $8500 to replace my furnace and heat pump for something that could have been caught and dealt with when they were here in July. On top of that I ended up not having any heat pump for the better part of almost two months. I had the electric heat running for these two months and I had bills that went over $500 and $600. I guess it all goes to the fact that they told me that I had a need to put a couple of pounds of free on’s on the system and they checked everything so that was fine, but if you have another problem they should have done a leak test right away. Then I come to know from another company as to what exactly was the problem. I wouldn’t use him again. I ended up with another company that told me privately that this was not uncommon with this particular company. It seems they continue to have problems and for whatever reasons they don’t call their customers back. I don’t know if other people too are having similar problems with this company. The price was okay though. I had good response when I called them. Then when I called again they just wouldn’t answer or call back. They were punctual with the initial services. This guy was fine, but the fact that I didn’t get a call back from him shows that he’s not professional. I would never use their services again in the future and I will not recommend him to anybody.

I called on a Friday morning. They came that afternoon to diagnose the problem. They copied down all the numbers from the pump and went away to get a replacement. They told me that they would not be able to get the replacement in time to do the work that afternoon but that they would be back the next day (Saturday). They did not show up on Saturday. They arrived promptly Monday morning and explained that the dealer was unable to determine the proper pump from the numbers so they couldn't do the repair on Saturday. They were going to have to take out the old pump and take it to the dealer to identify the replacement. They did that and everything was fixed and running smoothly by noon.

The first incident occurred on a Saturday. It was warm that weekend and the apartment was vacant, so I waited until Sunday morning to call. Kent Adams answered the phone, and we talked through the symptoms and agreed that it was probably the blower motor. We agreed to wait until Monday morning to avoid the charges for a weekend service call, and he was able to send a tech at 8 AM on Monday to replace the blower. On the second call, I also spoke to Kent and we walked through the possible causes. Given the cold weather on that day, however, Kent agreed to send someone. Approximately 1 hour later, a service tech was at the house, and an hour after that, had both furnaces up and running again. Overall, I was thrilled at the service and responsiveness, and appreciated Kent's technical knowledge and willingness to talk through the problem on the phone. My only negative is I felt the cost of the blower replacement was a little high, after researching online and talking to family.

Our furnace wasn't putting out heat only the fan came on. Howard Adams Heating and Air Conditioning sent out a repairman within 24 hours. I felt he gave our furnace and a/c a thorough inspection. He determined that the furnace which is an electric, forced air and 20 years old could be repaired by replacing a part. He estimated the total inspection/repair work to be $350. The job ended up taking longer than anticipated but he did NOT charge me above the original $350 estimate. Prior to calling Howard Adams, another heating/ac company took a look at our furnace and a/c. Said it was completely shot and needed to be replaced to the tune of $3700. The repairman from Howard Adams SAVED US A BUNDLE by replacing the malfunctioning part which has our furnace functioning just fine again.

Salesman is very knowledgeable about the products and good with customers. The crew that did the job was not the same. They were messy, damaged things in the home, and weren't professional. They did however seem to know how to do the hvac job.

I THOUGHT I MIGHT NEED TO HAVE THE FURNACE CLEANED, TOO, BUT THEY SAID THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY. IN OTHER WORDS, THEY DID NOT DO SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T NEED TO BE DONE JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE THERE. VERY EFFICIENT AND ETHICAL SERVICE. WILL COME ON WEEKENDS, EVENINGS. WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I HAVE CHOSEN THEM OVER OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS WITH WHOM I HAVE NOT BEEN AS SATISFIED.
