House Calls, L.L.C.

Cleaning was acceptable. No complaints. But the company applied unauthorized charges to my credit card. So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The next day, I discovered that the daughter of House Call's owner posted a nasty note on the Facebook page of my fiancee's employer. Needless-to-say, the employer had absolutely nothing to do with the BBB complaint. I was simply bewildered by the spiteful and unprofessional action. I filed another BBB complaint.
FYI: the unauthorized amount to clean ONE floor of my smaller-sized house (+ 1 addt'l bathroom), was $266!!!!!!! We since hired another cleaning company. For the exact same job, they charged just over $100 -- a LOT less -- and we are equally pleased with the results.

Called on a Friday in a panic needing cleaners for a Saturday.  Most cleaning services do not provide Saturday service so I was really having a hard time.  The man who answered the phone was exceptionally helpful and said he would see if he could get me some help.  Less than 2 hours later I got a call back saying 3 ladies would be available to help!  They showed up at 9:30am and stayed until 12:30pm and they did a great job.  They were very professional and didn't waste any time.  They did an amazing job and they worked their butts off.  The house was lived in by 5 college boys and hadn't been cleaned in about six years so you can imagine how disgusting it was!  They ladies really did a great job helping to make it presentable.  I highly recommend Cynthia and Tierra they really worked hard and didn't miss a thing. I was grateful for their giving up a Saturday and for them getting so much done in such little time. Finally, they didn't overcharge me.  What I was quoted per hour was what was charged.  Great service overall from beginning to end.  Highly recommend. :)

They were a good company, but it was just more than I was wanting to spend.

House Calls is easy to do business with. We orig planned to use their services for a few months...here we are 10mos later and I am still on a 2week schedule. If I ever need to reschedule last minute, Stephanie & team are very responsive & accommodating. The ladies do a nice job cleaning my house. All I have to do is leave out clean linens and they strip & remake the beds. Several of my family/friends also now use this service.

Cleaning price was based on five man hours of cleaning. But they didn't complete the job. We specifically expressed that we had to have the house cleaned before I went out of town. I asked them to let me know if it would take longer. I showed up when I thought they would still be there and they had already gone. When I called them, they weren't able to get anyone back in the time I needed them to.

GREAT WORK. VERY PROFESSIONAL. GAVE VERY DETAILED ESTIMATES AND WAS VERY HELPFUL.

THEY ARE A FEW THINGS IN THE GARAGE THAT I WOULD'VE HAD LIKED THEM TO DO BUT THEY DIDN'T, NOTHING MAJOR. I WOULD HIRE AGAIN BUT I WOULD GIVE A MORE DETAILED LIST.

THE FIRST TIME THEY CAME THEY SPENT 2 1/2 HOURS AND DID A GOOD JOB. THE SECOND TIME THEY CAME THEY ONLY SPENT 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES BECAUSE THEY HAD ANOTHER JOB TO GO TO. THEY DID A LOUSY JOB THE SECOND TIME AROUND. NOTHING WAS MOVED ASIDE TO CLEAN. I CANCELED THE SERVICE AFTER THE SECOND VISIT.

THE PEOPLE ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY FEEL LIKE PART OF THE HOUSE, NOT LIKE THEY ARE INTRUDING. THIS COMPANY DOES HAVE DIFFERENT CREWS, BUT I ALWAYS REQUEST THE SAME ONE. IVY IS THE MANAGER.

CREW ARRIVES CONSISTENTLY TO AGREED-UPON SCHEDULE. GOOD SECURITY PRACTICES WITH KEYS. PROMPT RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS, FAIR POLICY WITH SCHEDULE CHANGES OR LOCKOUTS. QUALITY CAN VARY DEPENDING ON CREW AND IS USUALLY GOOD (BUT NOT ALWAYS EXCELLENT).
