Homesmith Company

After purchasing our house we had Coy from the Homesmith Company come out to discuss what could be done to repair the hard wood flooring on our first floor. It was partially covered in carpet in some rooms and in a general state of disrepair. It was well warn, stained and damaged in other places. After pulling the carpet we were dismayed to discover that there were even pet stains (urine perhaps) on some parts of the flooring from the previous owners. Boards had shiffted and some needed to be repaired. We could not believe how well the floor turned out after Coy completed refinishing them. We originally felt that they may even be beyond repair and may have to be replaced. Would 100% use again.

The entire experience was pleasant enough that I am ready to move to other projects and would confidently recommend them. Never before have I done a remodel of this magnitude or of any kind. Most important to me was confidence. Can I have confidence in this company to quote me a price and adhere to it, perform the work they say they will do, come in my house while I am away; recommend an option that is better for the customer. It was a lot for me never to have gone through it. The cutout for the breakfast nook is on a support wall ? having confidence in the contractor was crucial. The other part of that equation was communication. Communicate my vision and the contractor to implement. Contractor to communicate an issue; a resolution and the customer to make a decision and move on without delaying the project. This came up with the cabinets, the supplier had issues with cabinet availability, the contractor recommended what he could do with what was available, I made the decision and we moved on without delay. I had a plumbing issue the contractor assesed, resolved and moved on. That is precisely what I came to rely on and totally respect. They were respectful and tidy throughout the entire process ? at the end of the day when I returned home there was no mess to contend with.
