HERE TO THERE

The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8A -9A and they arrived after 10A. When I scheduled the move I was told I needed 2 movers but the morning of the move I was told that I needed 3. One of the movers injured his finger on the truck prior to entering my house so his moving abilities were limited. I was told that another worker would be sent to replace him but that didn't happen. The morning after my move I discovered that over $100,000 (one hundred thousand dollars) worth of jewelry was missing and I immediately contacted the police. One of the three movers was arrested and charged with the theft, to which he confessed at the time of the arrest. The police officers were able to locate my jewelry at a pawn shop near the thief's home and it was returned to me within a week. All of this was done without ANY cooperation from the owner of this company/franchise - his response was that "He had a business to run" and he would not even return the calls of the police who were investigating this crime. I later contacted this man asking for the name of the moving company's insurance company with plans to file a claim for what I had to spend to get my jewelry from the pawn broker. The owner agreed to mail me a check for the amount and I have yet to hear from him. My move was the end of June. I would never recommend this mover to anyone.

We purchased a piece of antique furniture and they picked it up from the store and delivered it to our home.  They did fine.

They were terrific. I would give them a 10. They were knowledgeable and professional. The crew was friendly and hard workers. They were just incredible. They did not do a thing wrong.
