It was terrible! I had them out a total of six times to fix an issue with my air conditioning unit. The first visit they told me it was my blower and I spent $400 to replace my blower. Not even a week later I was having the same issues. They came out and said that all that was wrong was that my freon needed to be topped off. Several days later--problem still there.  I called them out again and this time they told me it was my freon and that I would need it to be replaced. At this point I opted to get a second opinion, beause I was lacking faith in their knowledge to identify the proper problem, which cost me another $100. After the second opinion I decided that I had already vested $400 dollars in the first company and that they needed to come out and address the problem. On their fourth visit I spent another $200 to add freon to the system. Within an hour after their departure my unit was frozen yet again. I called again, and waited again for them to come back out. Let's not forget that this was the dead of summer and my house was 88 degrees inside...for over 2.5 months, due to them. They finally sent out a supervising tech who said he could not find any problems and left at that. I called the office and explained to them that I had spent over $600 and 2 months of misery waiting for this to get fixed and that they needed to find and fix the problem once and for all. The secretary quickly said that if I was not happy with the service we could go elsewhere. 1) that is terrible customer service 2) what kind of business would tell you to go elsewhere and 3) I've already spent tons of money with YOUR company. Needless to say our AC never got fixed by them.
Moving ahead into the fall, I decided that I wanted to get our furnace serviced before the winter so I placed a service request with our warranty company. Unfortunately it was with the same Heating and Cooling Services Co. At least this time it would be through our warranty and they would eat the costs. After waiting five days after requesting service and not hearing anything I decided to check in with the warranty company and see what the status was. They informed me that the companys secretary had called them the day I requested service and said that she "had spoken with me and that I had bad service with them in the past so I wanted to cancel my service request with them." YES, I have had bad service with them in the past, but NO, I never spoke with their secretary and never cancelled my request. This just proves that this company lacks knowledge, skills, honesty and integrity. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

I went 22 days without air conditioning this summer. I had to go through them with my home warranty company. The first time they came out they put freon and a part in and they said everything was okay. About two days later I didn't have air. They came out and put a part in which caused the house to cool down. Two days later it quit again. Every time I called they have a time frame of 3 days to actually to come out to see me. I had to call them multiple times because the air kept quitting on me and they wouldn't come out right away even without air. The service just was not good overall with this company.

Overall the provider did a good job. The only complaint I have is the dispatcher/customer service was very short and a little rude. We had 3 small grandchildren in our home at the time of the outage and the dispatcher would not even discuses it with me. The technician was professional and quick, no problem. To sum up: the price was "set" by our home warranty, the problem was solved but a little courtesy goes a long way.

This company came to me via my warranty company provider. They are extremely difficult to work with and require many phone calls to get the issue resolved. The work required a report to my warranty company and I was lied to on two different occasions about this report being filed when it was not. When the tech, who was very nice and knowledgeable, actually came to do the work it was fine. Dealing with the company itself was very frustrating. I also had to call three times for a receipt.

I had a perfectly average experience with our technician, that is not the reason I'm writing this review. It did take two visits to get our furnace fixed, but I understand that everyone makes mistakes.
The part of my experience that prompted me to leave a review was the almost comically bad service that I got from the "office manager", Stephanie. Within ten minutes of the technician leaving, she was on the phone demanding money and threatening to send us to a collections agency the very next day. The issue was that the company did not want to take responsibility for coming out and not fixing our problem on the first visit, and wanting to charge us twice, proclaiming it to be a "different problem" this time. We are under a home warranty and already paid our deductible, so this is entirely ridiculous for so many reasons. Nevertheless, my husband and I tried our best to just calmly explain the problem to her, but she was so busy yelling and interrupting us (with insults, in many instances!) that she never really seemed to get the message and clearly had no interest in providing good customer service and resolving the issue politely. I even asked her why she was being so rude, and her excuse was that she didn't like having to repeat herself. I'm not making this up, we were dumbfounded by her attitude! When I told her we were not going to accept the collections agency charge and would countersue, she called the cops on me for threatening her. The cop, naturally, called to let me know that the complaint had been made but clearly got the same vibe that I did (crazy woman alert!) and expressed no concern.
Anecdotal story, I know, but I can't imagine any reason that anyone would EVER need to use this company over another one. There are plenty of furnace companies out there. In the middle of winter with a broken furnace, it took calling them twice and 2-3 days of waiting to get a technician over for both visits. Surely there is another company out there with a quicker response time, and who won't treat you in the manner that we were treated. And if you do find yourself in the same situation that we were in, get everything in writing, sign NOTHING, avoid "Stephanie", and watch your back.

The worker spent and hour reprogramming my electronic heating and cooling control pad so that I was able to use it. I thought my unit was going bad, but really it was just the thermostat. He fixed it and set it to my preferences and now I can use it. Now my utility bills have dropped and I have perfect temperature in a 100 year old house.

I had the home owner?s warranty. I still paid them. I don?t think that they gave me a true estimate of what was wrong. They seemed to be professional and knew what they were doing. They answered my questions. I felt that they were serving the home warranty agent rather than my interest. They came out right away. They were very late.
