We could not be more satisfied with the work that Dave at Hansbauer Decorating did for us.  Initially, we were unsure about our choice of paint color, especially for the large family room, which is exposed to a lot of sunlight.  Dave helped us choose the perfect color.  It is obvious that Dave has a great deal of experience and a good eye for interior decorating.  He gave us a timely estimate, which was very reasonable and lower than other painters that we had used in the past. 
Dave worked very efficiently and was able to get all three rooms painted more quickly than we expected.  He also has great attention to detail; his work was flawless!  He was also very clean, even with all of the repair work that needed to be done on the walls.    
Dave is very professional and trustworthy; we had no concerns about letting him come and go as he pleased while we were at work.  We will definitely call Hansbauer Decorating for our next decorating project.

We were very impressed with Dave's work and attention to detail. He setup an initial appointment with us to walk through the details of what we wanted painted. He quickly provided an estimate and recommended the best type of paint to produce the texture and look that we wanted to achieve.  Dave is a very honest business man and explained to us that repainting the ceiling in the entire house was not necessary even though it would have greatly increased the amount he would have been able to charge us for the service.  Instead, we worked with him to examine the rooms in the house where the ceiling had some sort of physical damage/deterioration that would truly benefit from repainting. This helped us to save money on the ceiling and we used the money we saved to have Dave paint the baseboards in each room, which were in true need of repainting.
Dave's pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to some of the larger companies we researched, who hire inexperienced college students to paint your house.  Prior to painting Dave spent an entire day repairing nail pops and other areas of the drywall that had deteriorated over time. We tried to help before he arrived by identifying the more significant areas that needed repair but he ended up identifying and repairing two to three times as many areas. This resulted in an extremely smooth and good looking wall surface.
Since Dave does all of the painting himself, we trusted him to enter our home and work while we were away at work for the day.  Everyday when we came home, we were excited to see all the progress he had made and were impressed with the results.  Dave is very clean and the only reason you could even tell he had been there was because of the visible progress that had been made with the paining.  There was never any mess and all of his supplies were cleaned up and stored in an isolated area at the end of the day.
Dave completed the job within the upfront time estimate and even included a few areas that we had not initially discussed free of charge.  To ensure a high quality product, Dave applied two coats on all of the surfaces that he painted.  The results were above and beyond what we could have imagined and our house looked and felt like a brand new houseafter he was finished.
