H Glasgow Construction Co

We had a water leak in our basement which was under a custom-built in-home projection screen. We had numerous estimates ranging from $7700 - $18000 with all approaches removing the entire custom built screen and rebuilding it. The rebuilding costs were not included in the vendor estimates. We found H. Glasgow Construction Co. which came up with the approach of attacking the leak from the cabinets underneath and working upward. Glasgow not only fixed the leak, their work was professional and only totaled $1286. I rarely write reviews so when it does happen the reviewee must be pretty special. I highly recommend their work. p.s. I offered a $50 tip to each of the two guys at the completion of the work - neither guy would take it.

Company rep very happy to come over often and take extensive notes, then seemingly forget (or disregard) everything we talked about; not very communicative.   Foreman and crew excellent however, and very attentive to detail and respectful of my time and property. Work looks overall very good, but it took them 8 months to show up and 6 months to finish.  2 other very similar projects on my street by different companies were done in half the time.  And It seems when they got the space fairly usable, and I was able to move back in, they had more pressing business elsewhere and didn't show up for some time between working periods. We went with this company based on their detailed contract - wanted to be able to follow the money and thought it would buy us more guidance on project.   Nope.  Happy with final results, but feel that it's due to my clear vision of what I wanted and the foreman's willingness to listen.

Very well. They were professional, timely and had the nicest contractors/workers. The finished project is beautiful and we love it!

The job was quoted as taking 4 weeks and indeed it did. The workers were courteous. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Once the final walk thru was done, we had some items that needed completed or fixed. Within 2 weeks those were taken care to our satisfaction. A compnay is only as good as its word and its work. Glasgow gets an A in both of those areas. We will consider them in the future as we perform other remodeling jobs at our house.

The experience with H. Glasgow Construction Co was good. This was the first time we had done renovations on that scale in this home. Everything went well and we were pleased with the final product.

They inspected damage, assessed cause and fixed bad siding. Matched siding exactly and assured me damage was not caused by faulty chimney after inspecing inside.

The work was excellent. They were held up when trying to get the beams approved. They had to follow city code. They worked pretty timely. I think they were very excellent in their work. Sometimes, they were delayed and you would wonder why they weren't there. I do think that they are a little pricey. I could have probably gotten a cheaper bid somewhere else but they do excellent work. Their remodel included air conditioning and heating. They had to wait on them to finish their work before they could continue with the remodel. They were all very professional and they explained what they were doing.

They ended up not doing what we were looking for, but they were honest and upfront about that.

This company is not going to be the least expensive one to use for a home construction/remodel project. But, what you will find, if you use this company are people who listen to what your needs/wants are and provide you with their recommendations. They are highly professional. They are also very considerate in trying to clean up after their projects. When the project is finished, it will be well constructed. They often follow-up to be sure you are happy with the completed project. They have examples on their website with before and after photos of many of their projects.
