Greg Koopman Surveying

We wanted to get a land survey at our new house prior to having a fence installed in the backyard. My experience with Greg Koopman was great! He contacted me the same day I reached out and conducted the survey the following day. With the help of an assistant he surveyed and staked out the borders of my property installing permanent ground stakes in the corners and flagged stakes in the middle of the runs to make it easier to see the property line. Once finished, he walked the perimeter of the property with me showing each of the points and explained the reference points he had used. I was shocked to see my property extended about 15 feet further on one side than I thought (right through the middle of my neighbors encroaching garden). Greg then mailed me hard copies of the land survey to keep for future use. I would highly recommend Greg to anyone in need of a survey. He was professional and provided a high level of service.

Greg was great! He was easy to schedule an appointment with, punctual, and very efficient. He helped walk me through the property lines and answered all of my questions. A couple of days later we received multiple copies of the survey int he mail.

Great Experience - Great Job and Price!! I Recommend Greg to anyone who needs a Land Survey. He came within a few days of my call and he marked my property lines and provided drawings. Greg arrived a few minutes early and went right to work. When completed, he walked me through the property and explained the details of his markings. I received several copies of the survey drawings 3 days later. I am very satisfied with the service he provided.

I understand why Greg has so many positive reviews on AngiesList. He was easy and quick to schedule the survey, he works on the weekend which was a great bonus for me since I could be home. He was early for his appt. and got right to work. He and his assistant worked in the rain. He put intermediate markers along the property line since there are lots of trees and its difficult to see from corner to corner. At the end he explained everything and showed us all the markers. I learned I had been mowing about 10 feet of my neighbors yard and another neighbor planted trees on my property. His price was less than the surveyor my neighbor hired and his surveyor did not even put intermediate markers along the line, which is why he ended up planting trees on my property. I highly recommend Greg.

Excellent. Greg placed the markers, explained the survey, and provided prints to me all at the price he provided as an estimate.

There was no problem. It went fine. He was professional and knew what he was doing. He had great knowledge. It took about six hours. There were two people. I recommend them to family and friends.

He was on time and efficient throughout his work. Also, he helped me deal with an intoxicated, angry neighbor who walked onto the property unexpectedly.

I left a message for Gary and he called back the same day. Scheduled the survey 3 days later at 12PM Sunday. I had cautioned him that I wouldn't be available much as there was a Bengals game on that day. He arrived at 11AM so that he wouldn't interfere with the football game. Worked without any supervision and was done before the game started. Received the survey on Tuesday morning on email. Very professional. And the price was $300 less that a previous quote!

He showed up on time and explained to me what he was going to do and how long it would take. He then went to work surveying my yard until he was finished. He took notes and left markers along the border so that I could determine where the lot borders were. He answered every question that I asked and explained to me when I would receive the final survey for the lot. He did a great job and I would recommend him for surveying to anyone who asks.

Greg is a delight to work with and provided me with excellent service and work product. He was available within a week of my initial call. He came out exactly when he said he would. He took his time to do a careful and thorough review of my property and the surrounding area so as to come up with reliable markers and get the survey really right. I so appreciate his attentiveness and care! He staked everything clearly, including some hard to reach spots, and will send me a drawing in the mail on Monday. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!!

He sent me a report/document showing me my land boundaries. It took him about 4-5 hours and he was able to get the job done. It took him a couple of days to send that document and it was quick. He was a good hardworking guy. He was a nice guy too.

I arranged a date and time with Greg through the Angie's list messenger. He showed up on time and completed the survey. No complaints.

I had arranged for another surveyor (not Greg Koopman) to survey my lot before a new driveway was installed. All during that month, I envisioned the surveyor getting the proper paperwork, looking at the property, etc. When no stakes had appeared the week before, I called and this surveyor could find no paperwork, though he said he remembered speaking with me. I was in a pickle! Luckily, I found Greg Koopman who came out the very next day and did the work.

Greg arrived right on time for the appointment, which was all scheduled through Angie's List messaging system(very convenient!). He was able to stake out my property lines with easily identified orange tape on the wooden stakes as well as metal stakes pushed into the ground. He took care of all research and paperwork with the county so I didn't have to do anything. Overall job took about an hour, which is what he told me at the beginning of the appointment.

It went well. Good to deal with. Explained what he was doing. Very confident he did a good job.

Greg is easy to work and straight to the point.

Greg was very polite and asked me some quick questions on the phone to mostly find out why I wanted him to survey and about how large my yard was. He called me when he was on his way and introduced himself as soon as he stepped out of his truck. He then put on his reflective vest and went to work. He measured from several different locations to get the exact spots he needed to start. Greg installed survey pins at all four corners and added wooden stakes in-between. I received three approved and stamped copies with all the correct markings about 3 days later. Greg was a very nice down to earth guy. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family. The job was exactly what I expected.

I measured the lot myself, but some things did not look right when I compared my line to my neighbors lines. I decided to try to find a surveyor to get accurate measurements. I have a rectangular 1/2 acre lot, 100 x 200 feet with no visual obstructions for a surveyor. I looked in Angie's list for surveyors and picked 2. The 1st one who had done the original survey on my lot when the house was built in 1994 wanted $450 to do the survey. I called Greg Koopman and he said he would do it for $300 and would be out Saturday to do the survey. It rained all day Saturday, so he called and asked if he could come out the next day, Sunday. He and a colleague completed the survey in about 2.5 hours. He put official surveyor pins at all 4 corners, plus a couple of wood stakes in places between the corner pins. The lot was much different than what I or my next door neighbor thought. I thanked my next door neighbor for mowing part of my lawn for the past 20 years, which gave us both a laugh. Greg also sent me 3 official copies of the surveyor stamped land plot showing where the pins and stakes were located. It also shows any easements on your property. You can get this plot from the county, but it is sometimes hard to read. Our houses are on a curved road with few fences around or other points to get a visual reference. This was an overall enlightening and educational experience. I didn't realize that your property line doesn't go all the way to the street, but is setback in our neighborhood.

Greg was very professional and performed his service with a high degree of quality. Even with having to deal with a difficult neighbor of mine, he responded professionally and completed the task skillfully and completely. I would recommend him to others.

In a property line and fence dispute with a particularly egregious neighbor I needed to quickly get a survey done. Mr. Koopman was professional, courteous and reasonably priced. Arriving at the beginning of the estimated time frame he provided -he was able to resolve the question of the property line in a professional manner despite the interruptions and and quot;interrogationand quot; from my neighbor. I would most certainly use him again should the need arise and refer him to others without any hesitation. Perfect Transaction!

Mr. Koopman surveyed, mapped out and posted our property which is approximately 1.3 acres mixed cleared and bush land . We had property description but no survey when we bought the house and wanted to install a fence and take down some dead trees without encroaching on neighbors land. The original property post were buried under 30 years of brush and dirt. When he was finished he walked the property line with us and showed us where he had posted and also showed us a preliminary drawing he had done.. He was, on time, professional, courteous and did everything he said he was going to do. He estimated between $350-$400 and we paid $375. Will refer him to anyone who needs a surveyor.
