Steve Lepper and his crew did a fantastic job of weather-sealing and insulating. I've never met a contractor or workman who was more knowledgable, skilled, hard-working, and personable than Steve. He explained everything to me and I have complete confidence in his work. The total contract was for $4900, of which Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance paid 50%. He spent several days with a helper sealing and weatherstripping and he brought in a crew who specialized in blown-in celulose insulation who worked very hard for the better part of two days. They insulated the downstairs walls by removing strips of vinyl siding to bore holes into each wall cavity. They also cut a trap door in the ceiling of a second floor bedroom closet and managed to blow celulose insulation into parts ot the ceiling that had no insulation. They did a beautiful job of cleaning up everything afterwards. The whole job took longer than Steve thought it would because he kept finding more things to fix. The increase in comfort level in my house (as well as savings on utility bills) makes it worth every penny.
