GOLDSCHMIDT LANDSCAPES

We had a great experience with Goldschmidt Landscapes! Josh came by to discuss our options and had us set up an appointment with a landscape architect. She drew up to-scale plans for us and Josh provided an extremely fair quote. They did the job in just a couple days and did a great job. The crew was very precise in their leveling and didn't cut any corners. They actually went above and beyond and had to rent a special saw to cut some concrete, so that they could get under our deck and make the patio extend a little farther. In the end, we were very happy with the way it looks and it completely transformed our backyard. We would absolutely recommend Goldschmidt Landscapes again!

From the beginning, Josh was great. Responded to my request for information right away, recommended a great landscape architect, and worked with me on my budget to get the price within a range I was comfortable with. My front yard needed old plants removed, new plants installed, top soil, dirt, and new river rock. It was quite a job. Josh and his crew were able to work my front yard in a day early, and his team worked for 7 straight hours. I have to say, that the crew that came to work obviously treated my yard as if it were their own. I even saw guys HAND-PLACING rock, and gently shaking the new plants to remove any stray mulch that may have gotten on it. Mid-way through the job, the lead crew member stopped to ask me where I would like remaining unneeded rock placed, and thoughtfully suggested a place in my yard out of sight and out of the way. I would 1000% recommend Josh and his team to anyone, and wish I had it in my budget to have them come back and work on the backyard ASAP! I cannot recommend Goldschmidt Landscaping enough!

It went great.  Josh (owner) met with us, drew up a plan, purchased all materials, removed everything in yard (stumps, old plants, grass, etc.), prepped site, laid top soil, planted new shrubs, trees, plants, mulched, etc.  FABULOUS JOB.  His workers were very nice, polite and professional.  Got the job done in time for First Communion.
The communication was great.  Josh kept in touch with me throughout the process and afterwards to make sure we were pleased.

From the outset there were problems getting an entire crew to show up. The poured footers and natural stone work were subbed out and worked well. The paver stone patio's and paths were uneven and had to be relaid, the steps down to the pool were a disaster and had to be redone. Weeks went by with no progress because the crew was on other jobs cutting grass. The retaining walls were not backed up with drains or gravel and muddy water poured into the new swimming pool during the first rain. He finally left without completing the project or correcting all of the problems. He was really incompetent with the hardscape materials. When doing the final grade for the lawn, he incorporated all of the gravel from the site and no grass will grow, we now have a weed field surrounding the swimming pool. Horrible work.
