We have previously had two large custom homes constructed for us, so we have substantial personal experience with residential construction. Without question, Gerbus Remodeling's major renovation of our home in Wyoming, Ohio was the best residential construction experience we have had.or could imagine. The project began in late August 2015 with land clearing and demolition of the interior and exterior walls and finished surfaces and completed in mid-March 2016. Throughout the interval, there was rarely a day when work did not progress on our project, and every trade type performed professionally, with dedication and very high quality. In spite of some significant in-progress changes that we required, Walt Gerbus and his team responded to make the result exactly what we wanted.

We worked with Alan Gerbus to build our new home.  Start to finish he was amazing!  Very detail and quality oriented.  His contractors had nothing but positive things to say and all enjoyed working for him. Any concerns we had as the project went on, he had already noticed and addressed. If something wasn't done correctly he would have the work redone.  During the design phase, several times he came back to us not happy with where the design was going as he did not feel it was what we were looking for.  He would make suggestions to the design to get it where he knew we wanted to be.  Every contractor we met was great and did a great job.  We had NO STRESS building with Alan and felt completely comfortable working with him.  You hear all kinds of things about building a house, how you have to be on the contractor every step of the way, constantly watching out for things, etc.  Not so with Alan, he was on top of everything!  We would HIGHLY recommend building with him.  Excellent work and experience!

He is an excellent general contractor. We were happy with him. He has his own crew that he works with. They are all polite, professional, trustworthy and competent.

They took time to do a good temporary patch - they didn't just hang some plastic and weight it down with bricks.

They worked very closely with the architect and us. They were very responsive to get the work done to our specifications. They planned the work to minimize interruption of our everyday life. They also had good working relationships with high quality contractors (IE: painters, plumbers, electricians, etc...).
