The technician did not repair it but he ordered a part and sent it to me. It was a latch on the dryer door. It was a great service call because the technician advised me of a cheaper way to do it than what was called for. They had a repair kit that involved tearing the door apart, putting a new weight in, and putting whole new electronics to connect to the door etc. However, he said I could just buy a replacement latch and the only problem with it would be that it did not come in the same color. So he helped me out pretty good. The part cost me less than $20 and the service call charge was less than $60.
