BECAUSE OF THE WALLPAPER BEING TWO LAYERS AND NOT PREPPED PROPERLY, REMOVING THE WALLPAPER BECAME THE MAJORITY OF THE JOB. JOHN KEPT US UP TO DATE WITH PROGRESS AND PREDICTED COST. TO SAVE FUNDS WE DECIDED TO PAINT THE SMALLER ROOMS OURSELVES, WHICH WORKED OUT WELL. JOHN HAD A KEY TO OUR HOUSE AND WAS VERY TRUSTWORTHY, HE ALSO HELPED BY LETTING OTHER CONTRACTORS IN FOR US (AS WE REQUESTED) TO DO OTHER JOBS LIKE STEAM CLEAN CARPETS. HE ALSO COLLECTED MAIL FOR US, UNASKED.
Description of Work
REMOVE WALLPAPER IN LARGE FOYER, DINING ROOM, LARGE MASTERBATH, AND TWO SMALL BATHROOMS. PREP ALL WALLS WITH PRIMER AND PAINT THE FOYER AND MASTERBATH. REPLACE LIGHT FIXTURES (3). THIS WORK WAS DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS (SEPERATE REPORT) BEFORE WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE, AND WHILE WE WERE INTERSTATE.

JOHN WAS METICULOUS ABOUT TRYING TO MATCH THE EXISTING HARDWOOD FLOORS, AND WENT AND BROUGHT SAMPLES TO OUR HOME FOR US TO LOOK AT BEFORE STARTING THE JOB. HE WAS GREAT AT GIVING US ALL OF THE DECISIONS, LIKE WHICH DIRECTION TO LAY THE WOOD, EASY TO WORK WITH. HE DOES NOT NORMALLY DO THE HARDWOOD FLOORS, BUT HE DID DO A REALLY GOOD JOB.

INSTALLED PRE-FINISHED, TONGUE IN GROOVE NAIL DOWN HARDWOOD FLOORS, INCLUDING MATERIALS AND LABOR IN THREE LARGE ROOMS.
