F&D TREE SERVICE

Fred and his crew did a great job. They did everything they said they would do, including removing several trees, grinding the stumps, trimming several trees, and cleaning up overgrown brush around the property. They left the area cleaned up and clear of debris. Everyone working was pleasant and professional. Fred was a little slow to respond to phone calls and emails sometimes, but always got back to me eventually; to be fair, I contacted him right as the weather got warm, which I'm sure is his busiest time.

He does an excellent job. I like the price, he was here when he said he would be here, they were on time and they did a very through clean up. They were very protective of my deck.

I was driving down the street that we live in and he was doing work in someone else's, I stopped and asked him to come and do my trees and he said, "sure", and he came down, looked at it, told me what's wrong with it, gave me a bid and had the work done within a week. He was better than others. He was here when he said he's be here and he was very ill and he did not let me know that and have to call him because I don't know what's happening.

It went fine. There were no problems or issues.

Fred was highly recommended by a landscaper friend. I enjoyed meeting him when he came to give me an estimate. He also reviewed other trees and advised us as to their condition without pressure. He arrived on time with 2 workers. The 3 of them worked quickly and steadily and finished the job in 3 hrs. as he had estimated.
Fred was very open to discussing the work as it progressed and did not make us feel we were disturbing them when we asked questions. They also cleared an additional area of honeysuckle and he gave us ideas of trees we could add to the area. They completely cleaned up and even put our birdfeeders back up for us.

I was given Fred's name from a man that was installing a pond at our home. Fred came over the same day I called him- his quote was less than 2 others I had gotten. He is also fully insured and that is important to me. The first time he came to our home was last spring- he removed a couple of big trees and trimmed up a few others. The 2nd and third times I have had him over he removed a few smaller trees and trimmed up the hedges along our driveway. I am completely comfortable calling up Marsha in the office (who is always friendly and flexible with scheduling) or Fred and asking for what job I want done and not having to be at home when he completes the job. I work full time and can't be at home during the week. I am so glad I found Fred! Fred and his team are professional, punctual, affordable and ensure that the yard is clear of debris when they leave the job site. I feel that I have my own personal arborist now! Thanks Fred and Marsha!!

The worker was on time, performed the service quickly, no mess for me to clean up. Would have not known he was hereif it weren't for the missing trees.

The work was very expensive, but cheaper than another company that I had gotten estimates from. They spent a couple of days here and did a good job!

He's costly, but magnificent. I've been using him for at least 5-6 years, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on how great my yard looks!

Overall, the experience was good. The technicians were incredibly nice and spent a lot of time at our home to complete the job. I thought their price was very reasonable,. I was very happy with them, and in fact, I'm going to call them again!

I contacted F and D Tree Services office and left a message. Based on my non-emergency message, I received a return call about two to three weeks later; which was perfect for me.

This time around I had contacted tree services with the intent to keep a maintained relationship over the next couple of years. I met with two companies and F and D was the third company I'd met with but the first company that didn't make me feel like I was in trouble due to the volume of tree growth I had and services that I needed. The other two bids came in above $2000 and topped out at $2700 for the same work.

Fred Mergy discussed what he would recommend first, and that was removing those limbs that were haning over my home. He also gave me information on the possibilities of gradually improving my trees and landscaping over a period of time.

Fred started at the front of the property with me and we walked around the house and agreed what would come off. Unlike other services, he didn't recommend and quot;toppingand quot; some of the trees. He was very informative about the species of trees I have and gave me ideas what to plant.

Marsha, from F and D, contacted me yesterday and said they would be here today, they were, and everything is perfect, they cleaned up, and it looks MUCH BETTER.

I am extremely pleased and am already planning to bring them back to help with tree planting.

FATHER AND SON TEAM, LOWEST PRICE OF THREE QUOTES WE OBTAINED, SHOWED UP ON TIME, WORKED VERY HARD, JOB DONE WELL AND QUICKLY. EVEN BILLED US SLOWLY...(:D)....WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN A MINUTE.
