The guys from Epiphany Foam Insulation were great to work with from beginning to end. They were very responsive when I called to request a quote. They showed up to do the quote on-time and provided a full explanation of what they were quoting and why. They were prompt in providing the full estimate via email. They worked with us to schedule a time to perform the service. The guys that showed up to do the work evaluated the situation before dragging everything out of the truck. They arrived on time, were professional, and took great care to cover their shoes and protect our floors. They even cleaned up after themselves (mostly.) We've noticed a big difference in the comfort of our home since the insulation was installed. We'd definitely use them again in the future!

They were very responsive with their estimate and their contact with me. Some of the other companies didn't get back to me. I think that their quality was their most important concern. They said they weren't going to do a job if it wasn't going to be done right. I have already had my friends over to look at the work that they have done, because I was very pleased with it.

Originally saw Epiphany Foam @ NKY green home expo. Got quote late 8/2008-contained not only the services cost but sales tax so I knew exactly how much it would cost. Very polished, professional-including all the details in the quote was reassuring that the work would be done the same way. Area to be insulated was a finished room. Chris Jones explained very clearly what parts of the walls/ceiling would have to be taken down. About the time I said I would be ready, I received a follow-up call to see if I was. The walls were not down yet. When the walls were down, I called Chris to schedule the install. He told me what time the work crew would arrive, that he would be there to explain the work to the crew, and would check back to review the job. Work crew was polite (asking if they could use the bathroom!). The work was finished and the area cleaned by 3:30. There had been a truck switch so not all of the cleanup equip was on the truck @ my house. They used my broom and dustpan. Not a big deal. Chris came by to inspect and check on my satisfaction with the work. Because Foam is sprayed, there were a few spots of foam on walls-easily removed with thumbnail/putty knife. Saving now to do downstairs!

It took all day to complete, but the job went smoothly and they masked off the windows and doors so they were protected. I wish I had had them cover the sub flooring because I spent awhile the next day scraping off small foam dots that they had missed during cleanup. In general they did a good job cleaning up but I would have asked them to cover up a bit more had I known. The manager was there 3 or 4 times throughout the day checking on the job which was great, too.

We wanted a solution for air quality, removing old insulation (many animals lived in our attic prior to our purchase). Wanted a low VOC product. Going with foam insulation solved many problems. We have a stairway to unheated attic. The door is an interior door. In winter the attic was a 2nd refrigerator and in summer the heat was extreme. Impact on our heating and cooling was huge. Epiphany was extremely professional from initial phone call and quote through insulation removal and application. They were very accommodating to our personal needs. An early opening in their schedule allowed them to come sooner and they helped to prep the area (removal of items). It took 1 day to remove and vacuum the attic and 1 day to apply foam. The staff were courteous and worked almost non-stop. The owner, Mark, came by both days and Chris oversaw the project and made sure all went well. We already notice big changes, only 6 degrees difference from attic to downstairs, no air drafts. Definitely recommend.
