Overall pretty well, for the price. Punctuality, courtesy, all work done well & satisfied, except for where some new posts installed: pretty messy job: cement seems to be of rough granular parts; i.e., not smoothed, so looks crummy. Not very circular, either. Didn't fully wash off cement on asphalt driveway, so have small patches of gray liquid that dried before I noticed it.

I called for an estimate for replacing about 110 feet of chain link fence that surrounds part of a side yard and acts as an enclosure for our dog. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that an estimator could come the next day. I later received a quote for $2286.15 which I signed and mailed on June 23, 2017. I called the next week to get a date for the install and was told that they would call 24 to 48 hours before coming to do the work. Because I planned to be there when the work was done I was hoping to get a specific date for the install but despite multiple attempts that never happened. I received a call on Friday July 7 that they would arrive for the install on Monday July 10. They did remove the old fence and install the new one on that day. There were several mostly minor issues with the new fence that concerned me so I called to ask that they send out someone to inspect the fence. The inspector arrived two days later and agreed that corrections should be made. About two weeks later, I believe it was July 31, the same two individuals who did the install were able to address my concerns and while I was not completely happy with the pace of the overall process and that two trips were necessary, I consider the final product to be an acceptable result.

It turned out good. I feel my safer on my steps now.

They were prompt and did an outstanding job. Courteous and professional all the way.

The design of the fence was originally not what I wanted so they had to redo the whole thing. It was a special order so it took a while. Everything turned out ok after it was fixed.

The fence looks great. Ron and Mary Ann were nice to deal with. Ron is personable and knowledgable and made good suggestions.The only thing I am not pleased with is finding a pile of dirt (left over from digging the post holes) dumped in my back yard.

It was pretty easy to have them come out. They were punctual, clean, and did a good job. They came back when I had a problem and corrected it right away. I was very pleased and satisfied with them. Everything that they did was above average. I would highly recommend them.

EME was very professional and knowledgeable. Explained their proposal in detail and made sure I had full and complete understanding. Responded very favorably to a very small problem, one year after initial installation, at No Charge. I'd recommend EME in a heart-beat.

I contact EME Fencing in early September. Mary Anne was very polite and said the estimator, Ron, would call back. Ron called the same day and came to the house within two days to provide an estimate. He recommended solid steel railing versus the hollow square tubing that had deteriorated. Very personable, Ron listened to my thoughts regarding the redesign of the railing and offered some very good suggestions for recycling some of the decor pieces and the layout options. We agreed that this was a 'small job' and that he would try to fit it in when in the area. I did not hear from Ron for a couple of weeks so I called his offices. I was told I would get a return call, but did not. On the third attempt I was connected to Ron and an appointment was set for the following Friday morning. On Friday morning Ron arrives on time, followed by Doug the welder. We reviewed the plan for the day and Ron said Doug would take care the railing installation. To say the least, Doug was amazing! He didn't rush the job. He measured in detail. He recommended drilling a new hole for a support post as the concrete was beginning to crack where the old boring had been made. He then bored the railing holes, cut the steel and proceed to install the new railing, filling the bored holes with a sealant. Doug did a superb job. He even repaired a crack in the concrete step that he felt would get worse during freeze and thaw cycles. I know my job was 'small' but he treated it as if it was the only job he had to complete. It's because of his attention to detail and his craftsmanship that I rated EME as high as I did. I am very pleased with the work performed and the price paid. I want to note that, other than client services follow-up skills, this is a very nice company to work with. I selected them as an Angie's List referral. In one of the comments made I read that another subscriber had some of the same difficulties but was quite satisfied with the amount paid and the quality of work performed. I selected the company based on the good reports, and was prepared to address the negative parts. I'm glad I did.

The estimate was typed and mailed promptly and included options other than repair, ie. removal, complete replacement and/or installation of invisible pet fence. Best of all, the written estimate itemized materials, labor, removal, etc. I had priced materials on my own and found they did not mark up the materials significantly from retail pricing. The work was done within a few days of my acceptance of their bid. The quality of the work was good only some minor complaints. Some small sharp wood debris was left in the yard which makes me nervous about the kid's feet. No sliding lock was attached to the gate though there was one on the gate that was replaced. Also, the new slats are sparkly yellow, though the rest of the fence is quite weathered looking (my problem, not theirs). I thought the labor charge was high, though I don't know how long it actually took to do the work. Overall, I was satisfied with the company and would hire them again.

Great. They called me at work every time they had a question and checked with me on all of the details. The fence is beautiful and works great.

Crew arrived on the designated day and performed work per proposal (removal of old fence and installation of new fence) and without incident.

EME DID A GREAT JOB. THE FENCE LOOKS GREAT AND FUNCTIONS WELL. I LIKE THE WOODEN RAILING SYSTEM THAT THEY USE, INCLUDING THE STAINLESS STEEL MESH LINER. THE INSTALLERS WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY MY LAWN SERVICE. COMPETITIVE PRICE. JOB WENT WELL, AFTER A SCHEDULING MIX-UP.

THE WORKERS ARRIVED READY TO WORK, AND THE JOB WAS DONE IN TWO DAYS TIME. THE SIZE GATES WE WERE QUOTED FOR, WILL NOT FIT THE AREAS, BUT ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE. THE JOB LOOKS GOOD. HOWEVER, SINCE DECEMBER, WE HAVE BEEN CALLING AND REQUESTING THAT THEY MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE GATES SO THE CATS CANNOT WALK THRU ON THE HINGE SIDE, BECAUSE THERE IS SUCH A LARGE GAP. WE FINALLY GOT OUR RESPONSE IN APRIL....THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $160 CHARGED TO MAKE CORRECTIONS TO THE GATES. THIS IS THE FOURTH FENCE THEY HAVE INSTALLED FOR US OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS AT OUR TWO HOUSES. WE ARE VERY DIAPPOINTED IN THEIR RESPONSE TO OUR PROBLEM, THEIR VALUED CLIENTS.
