Thank you for being so understandable with the seam, due to the size of window film rolls and some windows, seams are sometimes necessary but we always try to hide or even avoid them whenever possible."

"(member name removed) Very sorry you feel that way. I believe we had the buy one get one half off at that time. We make it simple and only charge 2 & 4 door cars the same price and always have. Most people don't tint the whole windshield but some do, so not sure if one of our salespersons miss quoted or we just ran out of time (wasn't sure by the review). We are extremely high volume and occasionally run out of time. It being the holiday season the volume was just honestly overwhelming this year. I apologize you had trouble. I didn't see quality complaints in the review and I hope that wasn't the case as our installations are usually top quality. If you change your mind and would like the windshield done, please call me and I'll help improve your experience. Best Regards Rick"

Having not heard back from Rick yet I called him on January 22, 2014 only to be told that he was busy and still looking into it. Rick implied at that time that he would see about getting the NAV TV fixed but that the installation and un-installation costs were mine to bear. I decided at that time that due to the fact that the NAV TV would not perform as I originally was promised that I did not want the product any longer.
On February 3, 2014 I scheduled an appointment to have the NAV TV module removed and the custom lighting installed. I arrived for my appointment and was told that due to several employees not coming to work they could uninstall the NAV TV but could not install the custom lighting for me. Once the NAV TV unit was uninstalled I offered to pay for the labor involved and was specifically told by the Eclipse representative that I would not have to pay for it and that the NAV TV unit was defective and would be returned. On February 6, 2014 I sent Rick an email noting that I had the NAV TV unit uninstalled on the 3rd and that I would like a refund. On February 7, 2014 Rick replied that NAV TV does not return installed NAV TV units and that while they would try to get a return authorization for the product that I should not expect a refund. Rick noted that his vendors dictate how he does business and that a refund or even partial credit would take weeks if not months to get; he also acknowledged that he owed me for the $100 overcharge in his reply.
On Februiary 7, 2014 I replied to Rick to point out that not only did the NAV TV product not function as he promised but that it was defective and for those two reasons I wanted a full refund. I told Rick in my reply that I expected a full refund or would dispute what he had charged me. Rick's reply on the same day was that "you are welcome to dispute it" and that a new NAV TV (which would still not perform as I requested it originally) or partial credit was all that I was due. He also noted that special order items are not returnable even though he had not indicated the product as special order or his return policy in any manner since the beginning.
Simply put, Rick sold me an apple under the premise that it was an orange. When I tried to return the apple he said sorry "we don't accept apple returns and even if we did you still have to pay us for the costs of growing it. Rick, as the owner of the business made it clear to me that he was in it for the money and not for the customers. I will not due business with Eclipse again.
"I remember this incident, I'm sorry for the defective unit and policies instilled by the manufacturers. It put us in a poor position to really make things right with you, and unfortunately miss-communication a long the way. As a business we certainly take the responsibility here. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and poor experience, I think if you go over our other reviews on here and other sites, you can see not what we're about or the kind of work we practice. Unfortunately situations arise, and some things we just can't help the way the customer would like."
