Normally on an engine that is 13 years old the issue is the injectors. They sent out injectors to be cleaned and after re-installing the idle issue was corrected but the high end power issue remained. They determined that the high pressure fuel pump was bad. Once replaced it now runs better than it ever has. It took 4-6 weeks to get it back but that was due to waiting on parts, not a result of the shop.

After attempting to use a name brand marine company for service on the Ohio River... and waiting 3 weeks for them just to look at the issue, I found Dry Dock. I called and spoke to Tracy who was incredibly helpful in explaining how their service works, whether the parts were in, etc. I dropped by boat off on a Thursday to replace an old throttle, throttle cables, and drive shift cable. They were able to perform the work and have the boat ready by the following Tuesday. Doug performed the repair on the boat and upon picking up, everything was back in place, and very clean. There were no signs of repair work having taken place at all. In addition, all along the way, the entire team of mechanics were helpful in answering various boat service types of questions. I got my boat back on the water, and tested it for a day, and took it out with family and friends another day. Their repairs completely fixed the problem!

I have been using Dry Dock for boat service for several years and they are a pleasure to deal with. Unlike boat dealers they get you in and get you out in a speedy manner. Christian is the tech I spoke with and he was very knowledgeable and helpful him and Tracy always take the time and don't rush when talking/explaining things to you. Dry Dock Boat Service is very easy to tuck my boat off and tell them when I need it. Even though they are fairly backed, they got my boat down fairly quick.
