I am not sure about every thing done to resolve the virus and get my computer running, but it is and it is working well. They also added a free Microsoft virus monitoring software, to replace the ineffective McAffee software.

I took it in at 5:50 pm on Thursday, and they called me at 1:42 on Friday to say my computer was ready.  See above for what provider did.  I always take it to them, as I used to have a virus once a year that needed to be removed, now it seems like I'm having to take my computer to them at least twice a year, and they always do a speedy job.  (This time was not a virus)

When I picked up the laptop, i did receive help installing and transferring data on one of the programs.   The person working with me could not transfer all the data for the second program (only partially installed)
I returned several weeks later for additional help, and was told to "Call Them" for help.  It was obvious that they were not interested in "service after the sale". 

.They were completely honest about the repair costs and gave me a lot of options to solve the problem without spending a lot of money to repair the keyboard.

I have a fairly old computer that was getting very slow so I was thinking of buying a new one but decided to take it to DR Micro instead to see if they could do anything with it. The turn-around time was quick and I'm happy with the results.

I have purchased computer parts from Dr. Micro in the past, and always found good information and fair prices, so when an external hard drive I use to store photos and music stopped working, I called them. Dr. Micro staff said they would attempt to recover the data using software for a $40 bench charge. When their methods didn't work, they referred me to a clean room recovery service which uses more drastic and expensive measures to recover the data. Dr. Micro's referral qualified me for a discount on that service. When I picked up the drive, Dr. Micro waived the $40 bench charge I was expecting - a nice surprise. I still haven't decided if the data is worth the cost the clean room recovery service would charge, but Dr. Micro staff was more than fair. Would have given straight A's if they had been successful in recovering the drive, but I will definitely do business with them again.
